Sixth Poem- I Promise

I Promise 

I fell in love with you when I saw you walking home crying

You once said that you think no one loves you

You must be lying!

But I know that the thought isn't new

I don't know how to explain it

I couldn't stop falling for you

No, I'm not saying bullshit

I wouldn't dare lie to you

You think I don't see the pain?

Well, I do

Every cut, every bruise and how you're slowly going insane.

But did you know it hurts me too?

I laugh when you laugh

I cry when you cry

You are my long lost other half

So please get up and try

I know what they did

And I know what they do

I know what's inside that small bottle with the lid

And I know what that does to you too

But you don't need that, beautiful

Your perfect just they way you are

Which is why you are so irresistible

You are my beautiful star

So when I saw your scars

I realised how many internal wars you fought

While I slept oblivious, underneath the stars

But please give me one more shot

I promise to protect you

I promise I will give you joy

And not to forget, good memories too

You might not love me back

But don't worry, I already knew

You can call it madness or you can call it love

But beautiful, I would live with your ghost

I AM SO SORRY THAT I DID NOT EDIT THIS OR TRY TO DO MY BEST AND NOW I FEEL SO BAD FOR WRITING A CRAPPY POEM THAT I DID NOT PUT ALOT OF EFFORT INTO. THIS SOUNDS SO CHEESY AND HORRIBLE BUT I COULDN'T REWRITE THIS BECAUSE I COULD NOT THINK ABOUT HOW I COULD IMPROVE IT. I AM SORRY BUT I SUCK AT WRITING ABOUT LOVE AND STUFF. Please tell me out of 10 how good it is so and also include  a way to improve it because I am actually really disappointed in myself for  writing something as bad as this. I am sorry. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
