Tenth Poem- What If

What If

What if I said that I wasn't the same?

That my life was a lie

And to me, it was all like a survival game

Would you actually cry?

What if I told you that all my smiles were fake?

And my real emotions are out only once in a while

That something inside me is going to break

Would you try to make me smile?

What if mentioned I wanted to die?

To let go of my life

And not be alive

Would you let me touch a knife?

What if I hinted that it gets worse at night?

The voices start screaming nonstop

And I can't make them stop.

Would you try your best to make it all alright?

What if I lied and said I was fine?

That I listened to soothing lullabies

And it was all okay and I felt divine

Would you too believe my lies?

And what if I died?

My body found in the morning

And with blood that has dried

Would you truly be mourning?

The picture above is amazing and so is the person who drawed it. I wish I knew who did it.😁
