Eighteenth Poem- One cut more

One Cut More

One cut, just one cut I told myself

And then the strong desire came

To get the razor from the shelf

But I was sure I'll stay the same

One cut, then two cut more

No one else needs to know

Hidden behind the bathroom door

I was sure the cuts wouldn't grow

One cut, two cuts, then three cuts more

It wouldn't matter I thought

And of that fact I was so sure

And lucky me, I am never caught

Three cuts, four cuts, five cuts more

Guess I didn't stop at cut number one

I feel like to my loved ones I'm just an eyesore

I used to trust them all but now I trust none

Five cuts, six cuts and then seven cuts more

Things have changed and so have I

I'm sobbing on the bathroom floor

Cause I now feel like saying goodbye
