Chapter Six- Familiar

Ezra disappeared after that night. I don't know where he came from but I'm guessing he went back to there. I've been with this nice girl that claims she's my sister and her baby.

"Savannah?" I ask and she looks up from the infant. "Who was I before the accident?"

" You were the girl everyone loved. The down to earth country girl that every guy wanted. You were happy with your celebrity boyfriend, Luke Bryan and he was happy with you." Savannah says then goes back to feeding my niece.

"How's the patient doing?" Asks Ian as he walks in, holding two things of diapers.

"She's doing fine." Sav replies and holds the, now coughing baby, closer to her chest. "She needs her medicine though." She hands the baby to me and I look down at the innocent blue eyes of the infant.

"sshh. Luke, when Sav's baby gets here, we will see how we can handle the baby around here and then maybe, I'm not promising anything, but we will see about having a baby." his face lights up and he kisses me again.

I jerk my head up and Ian and Savannah looks at me like I'm crazy.

"What's wrong?" Ian asks and I run to him.

"I told Luke that I might have a baby with him." I repeat over and over again and Ian looks at me strange. "I told Luke I would have his baby." I whisper, handing him Betsy and run to the door.

"Where are you going?" they both call after me and I turn and smile.

"I remember. I have to talk to Luke!" I run out the door and hear the screen door slam behind me. I run as fast as I can down to the field where Luke works.

"your dad. He doesn't want us together." My.heart drops.

"what?" my face falls and tears gather in my eyes.

"but...I don't care. I need you in my life. I think I love you, Liz." He breathes out the end and pulls me up on my toes kissing me.

One of the memories come to my mind and other one comes back.

"I love you too, Thomas Luther Bryan." I whisper trying not to laugh so much. He pulls back shocked and looks at me confused.

"How do you know that's my full name?"

"I don't know. A little ginger told me a couple of years ago." I wink. I stand up on my knees and wrap my arms around his neck as he falls back on the pillows. I fall with him making me land on his chest

Memory after memory comes back as I get closer and closer to Luke. I see him in the distance and start to run faster. I love Luke and I always will. He's the person I'm meant for and he's meant for me.

"Luke!" I call to him as he stands over the engine of his truck, covered in grease. "Luke!" I call again and he jerks up slamming the back of his head into the hood above him.

"Ow!" He shouts, rubbing the back of his head and turning to look at me. A immediate smile comes to both of out faces as I embrace him. "What is it?" He strokes my hair and I look up at him, still smiling.

"I remember." I whisper. Luke looks shocked and happy as I continue. "I remember! I remember being with you and telling you that I love you for the first time! I remember when I told you I would have your baby! I remember everything, about you." I rush out. " I still love yo-" I'm cut off by his lips crashing to mine and my whole body being lifted off the ground. Luke's lips mold to mine and he kisses me back. My fingers tangle in his hair as he holds me closer to his torso. I pull away and Luke kisses my neck, sucking on it softly. I lean my head back to give him more space.

"I love you" I continue as he mumbles it into the crook of my neck. The feeling of his soft lips send me into a spiraling memory-filled trance. I pull him closer as he pushes my back against one of the trees and his ruff hands connect with the skin under my shirt.

I need him. Now.

He sets me down on the ground and I start to unbutton the red flannel he is wearing and throw it behind me. HIs flawless body is only inches from me and looking even hotter in the moonlight.

"Sing to me" He whispers as he grips me, picking me up.

"Loving him is like driving a new Maserati down a dead end street

Faster than the wind

Passionate as sin, ending so suddenly

Loving him is like trying to change your mind

Once you're already flying through the free fall

Like the colors in autumn

So bright just before they lose it all"

I start and a moan escapes his lips.

"Losing him was blue like I'd never known

Missing him was dark grey all alone

Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you've never met

But loving him was red

Loving him was red"

I sing the rest of the song flawlessly and he kisses me again.

I've missed this.

"I love you" He keeps repeating and I say it back every time.

Hello! I'm sorry it took so long to update but I has some of the chapter done and it got deleted and this is the first time I've been able to use the laptop long enough to complete a chapter! the next chapter will be longer, I promise!
