Three weeks later
I run around the barn, cleaning, picking up Luke's clothes, trying to keep myself busy. Major news clouds my mind and I can't concentrate on what I'm doing. I run to the bathroom to clean up and I immediately see the pregnancy test box. I quickly hide it in the cabinet as I hear the door open. I smile ear to ear and run to the living room. Luke stands, shirtless, his whole body is all sweaty but I don't care. I jump into his arms and smile uncontrollably.
"I missed you today" I kiss his cheek and he sets me down. I kiss his lips quickly as his hands travel down my sides and grip my butt, pulling me closer to him. "Did you miss me?" I flirt and run my hands up his shirt. He doesn't answer he just presses his lips to mine and I get my answer. Luke pulls out of the kiss and his eyes drift to the freshly cleaned apartment in the barn.
"You cleaned? I would have helped you, Babe." He says as he wraps his arms around my thighs under my butt and lifts me up.
"Well, I wanted you to come home to a clean apartment but, I have some news. " I bite my lip as he sets me down and sets his hands on my hips, sliding them up my over sized flannel.
"Oh really?" He asks as his finger tips traces shapes on my lower back. It feels amazing but I have to tell him without distractions. The pregnancy test box comes to my mind first and I can't keep it back any longer.
"Luke, I'm pregnant!" I exclaim and a huge smile comes to his face.
"Babe!" He picks up instantly and holds me close. "For real this time?" He chuckles and I bury my head in his neck.
"Yes. We're having a baby." I'm crying at this point and he is too.
"We're having a baby" he whispers and holds me closer.
