Ashton's P.O.V

It's been a week since Luke and I went bowling and ever since that day, we've been texting nonstop. Before now, I knew Luke was flirty, but I didn't know he was this flirty. He always has the right words to say and I'm glad that he's doing this over text because if he did it to my face I would be six feet under the ground.

Michael and I are currently in study hall and he has been bugging me about who I've been texting since Monday, and there is no way he's finding out that I'm constantly texting his brother.

"Okay dude, it's been almost a week and you're still glued to your phone," Michael said. "Who the fuck are you texting?"

I locked my phone and put it down to look at my now red-haired friend. "If I told you would you stop bugging me?" Okay, I need to think of a story real quick.

"Duh." Michael rolled his eyes. "Now, who is it?"

I took in a deep breath before I started to talk. "Okay so, on Friday I went with my mom to go food shopping, and I kinda lost her, but I ended up meeting this guy and we talked for a bit before I found my mom. We exchanged numbers and on Saturday we went bowling and it was really fun." Damn, I should become an actor because that sounded really good for a lie.

"You don't know how to bowl though," Michael said, truly confused.

"Yeah, but he tried to help me; it was still fun."

"Okay, I don't get why you didn't tell me though."

"I didn't tell you because I know you'll suffer until I told you," I said with a smirk.

"You ass," Michael said, smacking my arm. "I thought you had a new best friend"

"That would never happen Michael." I smiled at Michael then looked down when I felt my phone vibrate. I looked over and saw that Michael has gone to his phone as well. I unlocked my phone and smiled at the message.

Right after the last bell rang I jumped out of my desk and ran to my locker. I'm really excited to hang out with Luke again.

"Hey, Ash." I turned my head and see Clifford the Big Red Dog standing at my locker. "I was wondering if you want to hang out at my place? Luke just texted me that he's going on a date, so we'll have the house to ourselves.

My heart skipped a beat when Michael said that he's going on a date. Does that mean I'm actually going on a date with him? I'm going to pass out because this is too much for one boy to handle.

"Hello, you there Ash?" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked over at Michael and shook my head.

"I can't," I said. "My mom texted me last period and she said that she's going to be picking me up so we can get me new jeans because she doesn't think I should have so many pairs of black jeans."

Michael chuckled and rolled his eyes. "Of course your mom thinks that. Well, I guess I'll text you later."

Once I was done getting everything I need from my locker, I walked out of the school and made my way to the cafe that Luke and I agreed on meeting at. It wasn't hard to find Luke in there since there weren't that many people in there and no one can pull off a quiff like he can.

"Hey," I said when I finally got to the table he was sitting at.

"Hey," Luke smirked and patted a seat for me to sit, and that seat was right next to him Not in front of him, but next to him; basically butt to butt.

I sat down and blushed because we were so close; it was just like the bowling alley all over again.

"So, how was school?" Did he really have to start a conversation with that? He sounds like my mother.

"Boring as fuck." I simply said because it was true. I don't know why we must learn all those irrelevant things.

"Sorry to hear that," Luke said, putting his arm around my waist, pulling me closer.

"Yeah," I said. "So I heard that you told Michael that you were going on a date," I continued, a blush bright on my face.

"Yeah, I just said that to have him off my back, because you know Michael." I frowned for a second. This isn't a date. He feels like one, maybe I'm just over thinking things.

"Oh, okay," I said, giving him a small smile.

"This can be one, only if you want it to be." I looked up and saw that Luke was looking at me with a small smile on his lips.

"Really?" I asked.

"Nope." He said and started to laugh. That asshole.

"Suck my ass."

"Gladly."
