Ashton's POV.

"Luke! That color is so ugly!" I whine as Luke picks up a small square of fabric the ugly shade of acid green.

"It's not so bad," Luke says with a shrug.

"Okay, that's like saying Steve Buscemi is hotter than the Chris Hemsworth," I retort with an eye-roll. I pull Luke's hand over towards where the blues were.

"Do you see anything you like?" A woman asks with a smile.

"Yes."

"Not yet."

Luke and I raise our eyebrows at each other. He looks like a god while doing so, whereas I know I look like an awkward monkey.

Seriously, what a douchebag; always having to look hot as hell every moment of his life. So unfair.

The lady just laughs. "I'll give you two some time, don't be afraid to come get me if you need anything," she says before departing to help another customer.

"I think you should wear blue," I say, rooting around through the different shades.

"Why do people always say that?" Luke whines.

"Oh, I don't know, you have light skin, light hair, and you have blue eyes; duh," I respond thinking it was obvious.

"Well, then what color are you going to wear?" Luke asks with a pout.

"Not sure yet, probably a warm color," I say distractedly, holding up different shades of blue to his eyes.

Luke's eyes light up with enthusiasm. "Oh! Can I pick you out a color?"

"As long as it's nicer than that horrid green!" I shout at him as he ran to the red, orange, and yellows. I roll my eyes and look back at the two options I'm now choosing between.

One was a light blue. It was like the color of the ocean near the Bahamian Islands. The second was a slightly darker tone, almost the color of the sky on a cloudless day.

"I like the second one," I hear Luke say from behind me, pointing towards the darker shade.

"I think I do too," I reply, turning to see that Luke had brought 3 different shades of red-orange over. One was a pastel orange, another was like a deep red-orange, and the last was a mixture of salmon and coral.

"Ooh, that middle one is pretty," I say with a smile. Wow, Luke was actually decent with picking out colors because I would've worn any of them.

What a dick.

"Yeah, I was thinking either the second or third one, so we'll go with this one," Luke says with a smile, holding the burnt orange one in his other hand. I've never really seen Luke this excited about something and it was making my heart want to go on a date with Death.

"Then do you want to get that lady and we can talk to her about what we want while I put these back?" I ask, taking the two leftover fabric squares from Luke's hand.

"Okay!" Luke says excitedly and all but skips over towards where the lady was standing behind the front desk.

I quickly put the extra blues away before heading over towards the reds and oranges. I find the spots where the fabrics went before putting them down, just then turning and seeing Luke excitedly lead the lady over to where I was standing.

"I see you found what you're looking for," the woman says, indicating towards the two fabric squares in my hand

"Yeah, I think we've finally decided," I say with a nervous laugh.

"Excellent! So is this for Prom, a wedding...?" She asks, looking between the two of us.

I felt my face heat up at the thought of buying or renting tuxes for a wedding, whether it be someone else's wedding or if Luke and I were to ever get married.

"This time it's for prom," Luke says, shooting me a wink.

This is it, this is the end of days! I will now forever be dead due to none other than Luke fucking Hemmings.

"That's great! Why don't you boys follow me so we can discuss this some more," The woman says with a smile.

She led us over to a small office looking room where she sat behind a desk. She pulled out a sketch pad and began asking Luke some questions before making beautiful drawings of what Luke was asking for. She asked about getting us measured, what kind of fabrics we wanted for our jackets and pants, what kind of shoes we wanted; but I didn't pay much attention because Luke knew what he was getting us; for me, it was just a matter of helping Luke pick out colors.

I mostly looked around the office. There were decretive pictures and a high school and college diploma on the walls, with some family photos on her desk. A couple minutes into the questionnaire, I felt something warm touch my hand. I look down to see Luke's hand as he intertwined our fingers.

I felt a certain warmth pool in my stomach. A small smile formed on my lips as I look fondly over at Luke. He didn't look over at me as he kept describing to the woman what he wanted, but I couldn't help but fawn over the small gesture.

I don't think I have forgiven Luke for being a dick to me, but I could truly see that he was sorry for how he acted and that he really wanted to make this work. I was falling for the blonde and I knew that I couldn't stop myself.

I know that I joke around and say that I loved Luke, but I didn't know what it felt like to truly love, and to be loved, by Luke Hemmings then.

But now?

I think I was starting to understand.

A/N: AAAAAYYYYYYEEEEE

How's everyone doing?

Good? GREAT!

So tomorrow is Easter, what are you guys doing or going? Who's hosting?

Just wanted to apologize for this short chapter, but I thought this was a good way to end this. Also wanted to say sorry for being inactive for so long. I was busy with the holidays, and school, and exams, and then I got a job and I had to work on balancing school and work and I just never had the time to just sit down and write.

So I hope you like this chapter and I'll let you guys know when I can update again.

Before I leave, does anyone want a character ask from me? Let me know by either commenting inline or down below ^.^
