Luke's P.O.V

Spending time with Ashton is actually really fun. Since he's younger, and friends with Michael, I'd assume that he'd be annoying and immature, but I was glad that I was wrong.

I'm pretty sure that Ashton has a crush on me, but after this day, I will know for sure. I know that doing this sounds harsh, but it's better for the both of us because I'll know of his feelings, not feel like shit, and he'll know that I just want to be friends.

I got this entire 'date' planned out. First, we just hang out at this small cafe right after he got out of school, and since it's a Friday we can stay out a little bit later without having to worry about school tomorrow.

After we had a small snack at the cafe, Ashton and I went to my car where I drove us to the park. It card ride was pretty quiet, but I could see Ashton trying to sneak glances at me. It was cute seeing him get flustered when I would look over and smile at him.

Once we got to the park we had a race to the swings and I won, obviously, thanks to these long legs of mine.

Ashton and I did a lot of things at the park. We went on the swings, played on the playground, ran around the field until we were laying on the ground, panting while we look up at the sky.

It was around six when Ashton and I decided to go to Burger King to get something to eat. I got myself a double whopper with cheese, and Ashton just got himself a ten piece chicken nugget with a cherry slushie.

"How's your food?" I asked before I took another bite out of my whopper.

"It's good," Ashton said. "I just don't get how someone can eat a regular whopper, let alone a double one with cheese," I rolled my eyes.

"When a man gets hungry, he eats," I said, looking down at his food, noticing that he only ate four of the chicken nuggets.

"So, you're saying I'm not a man."

"I didn't say that," I said.

"But you were implying that," Ashton said, and I honestly think he's a girl in disguise.

I rolled my eyes again before I got up and threw away the wrappers that were left from my meal. I went to check my phone and I noticed the time and decided that I should get Ashton home before his mom calls the police for a missing child.

"We should get going." I got up again and stretched, even though I wasn't sitting for that long.

"Okay, let me just throw this away," Ashton said before he threw away the rest of his food. "Okay, let's go." We went back to my car and once we were all set, I started my car and headed to his house.

I honestly didn't want to end this. I've been having a really good time with Ashton and it honestly sucks that these things have to end and I can't invite him over because he's friends with Michael and that would just be awkward, and I don't think his mom will like it if a boy stays over with her son.

Sadly, we arrived at Ashton's house and I got out my car just so I can open the door for him, it's something I usually do with the people that I've dated. But now, this is the final thing I need to do to see if Ashton actually likes me. I know that he kinda likes me from the way that he sneaks glances at me, but this is going to finish all the wondering.

"So, I had a really nice time tonight," I said as I walked Ashton to his front door.

"So did I, I really wish it didn't have to end." Ashton smiled as he got his house key out of his pocket. "I guess I'll be seeing you later."

"Wait," I said. Well here goes nothing. I gently grabbed a hold of Ashton's cheek and caressed it softly before I leaned in slowly until our lips were together in a kiss. And just like how I expected, Ashton kissed back.
