Chapter 15

*BETHANYS POV*

Kenny hasn't been here for 4 days! What the hell? He's never missed this many before! I'm so worried. But maybe he's just out with his other friends doing stuff they shouldn't be doing I take a quick shower and head to bed.

The next morning, I get dressed really fast. I just threw on a Hollister shirt and a sweatshirt. I put on some American eagle jeans and galaxy vans and put some perfume on. I walked out the door. I looked forward and saw Kenny at the bus top!! Oh my gosh!

He saw me and I saw him and I ran. I saw him pull out his arms so he can hug me. I hugged him and he lifts me off my feet and I brush his hair. I missed him so much.

"Hey Beth, be gentle" he says and I nod.

"I'm sorry. Where have you been??" I ask and he sits down.

"I've been sick, remember" he coughs.

"It must of been pretty bad then because I haven't see you in what feels like forever!" I say and he opens arm and I accept by hugging him again. You have no idea how much I missed him.

The bus comes, breaking the hug. I walk on the bus and so does Kenny. Everyone is asking him questions why he wasn't here so long. All he says is "been sick" and I think it's more.

"Kenny, will you sit with us?" Brittany and Stacy say. What?

"No I'm sitting with Bethany." He he says, all confident like.

"But you always sit with her! Since kindergarten!" Pushed hisses.

"And what's wrong that. I love her. She's my best friend. She's been with me through thick and thin. You guys haven't liked me till now. I'm not going to hesitate and sit with someone that might turn around and hate me again. I'm sitting with Bethany and if you have a problem with that, you can walk to school" he says, guarding me. My stomach is doing back flips. I'm so relieved. I thought he was going to actually sit with them. My heart is beating so much.

"Thanks Kenny." That's all I manage to say.

"Anything for you" he says and I get hot.

We get off the bus and Matt walks over, along with Corey. Corey comes up and I hug him. Kenny looks at me asking for another hug because he's going to hang with Matt and the others. I give him a huge hug and he leaves. I'm glad Corey isn't jealous I have a guy best friend. I'm glad he doesn't want me to stop talking to him.

"So I was wondering if you would like to go on another date this weekend.." He says and I smile.

"Sure! Details?" I ask he he's already got everything planned out.

School went by really fast and I run inside. I text Kenny & Corey the rest of the night and I go to sleep.

Kenny was here again. Thank gosh. I hug him again. I do the normal routine like yesterday and text Kenny and Corey.

Kenny:

Hope I make it tomorrow.

Me:

What?

Kenny:

I think I might be sick again.

Me:

No!! I missed you so much!

Kenny:

I missed you so much too!

Me:

I hope your okay!

Kenny:

Thanks. Goodnight.💕

Me:

Goodnight💝

*next text message*

Corey:

What time do you want the date to be?

Me:

6:00?

Corey:

That's good.

Me:

Okay. Where are we going again?

Corey:

This Mexican restaurant.

Me:

Kenny might now come to school tomorrow.😩

Corey:

I'm sorry.

Me:

Thanks. I'll see you tomorrow.

Corey:

Okay. I love you.

I didn't think I was ready.

Me:

Okay. Night.

I put my phone down and kept thinking about Kenny not being at school. That'll be the death of me....
