It was a cold autumn night and a confident looking teenager was running across rooftops. He was an unusual person to say the least, he had white hair, piercing green eyes, and wore strange clothes. He had white combat boots on that stopped just below his knees, black pants, a white belt, a white shirt, three small white belt-like things strapped to his right thigh, white gloves, and a long black coat.
The coat moved behind him in the breeze and would have reached his ankles if it weren't. The coat was cut so it didn't get in the way of his legs so it was easier to move around which added to his interesting look. His skin was pale and his movements were fluid which gave the boy an ethereal presence. He was about sixteen and thin, his hood was up and it hid his eyes from anyone that might see him.
His hair was a bit too long so it hung in his eyes but the boy didn't seem to mind, that was the way he liked it. The boy ran along the rooftops until he reached a small restaurant which catered to his kind, as soon as he opened the door everyone turned to stare at him. Everyone in the restaurant was older then him but no one was willing to look into the boys eyes.
The boy spotted someone and he walked into the restaurant and sat across from the person he had come to see. The guy was still older than him, the boy was about sixteen and the man was about thirty. The man had a new suit on, it was red with black buttons and silver cuff links.
His shoes were black and shiny while his hair was neatly combed, to anyone but the boy he looked like a wealthy man. The boy knew better, this guy was a conman with information that he needed and he intended to get it. The man had an untrustworthy look in his eyes, he was good at hiding his fear at least.
The con man's name was Paul Mccoy and no one trusted him once they found out about all of his cons. The boy didn't trust him either but Paul knew what would happen if he lead the boy in the wrong direction. Paul smiled, "Nice to see you kid, I'm glad you didn't get hit by a car on the way here."
"Spare me the pleasantries, do you have the information or not?" There were unspoken words that hung in the air, Paul had better hope his answer was yes.
Paul nodded, he was a bit more pale then he had been a second ago, "I've got it." Paul pulled a file out of his brief case and slid it across the table and the boy snatched it up before giving him an envelope.
The boy was about to leave when Paul called to him, "Be careful Omen, you of all people should know how dangerous it is out there."
Omen smirked, "A con man giving me advice? You should know better Paul."
Omen walked out of the restaurant and went to an abandoned building where he wouldn't be disturbed. He opened the file and looked over the information and he smirked again, he had everything he needed now. Omen took out a lighter and burned the file, he didn't need it anymore, once it was gone he stood up.
Half an hour later Omen was running across the rooftops of several tall buildings on his way to one in particular. Once he got to the roof of the building be needed to be at he stopped and looked around, there was a door that lead inside the building. There was also an air vent that he could go through, decisions decisions.
Omen decided to go for the quiet approach and went through the vent, he crawled through it until he heard voices. He looked through the grate off the air vent and he saw the man he had been trying to find, a mob boss by the name of Tony. Omen moved and kicked the grate off the air vent so it came crashing onto the table Tony and several other people were talking around.
Omen soon followed and he landed on the table with the hood of his coat covering his eyes. He looked up and smirked with a glint in his eyes as he stood up and everyone in the room looked at him in fear. Omen took out a knife that had been strapped to the small of his back in it's sheath and everyone took several steps back.
"Your time's up Tony." The lights flickered and turned off for a second and when they turned back on Omen was gone. Everyone in the room looked around frantically before they all saw him behind Tony and the mob boss slowly turned around. Once Tony was facing Omen the boy smiled and with one swift motion his knife cut Tony's throat and he was dead.
Omen disappeared just before several people burst into the room and saw Tony dead on the floor. The people that were still alive in the room were all shaking and no one said anything. The police took the crime bosses away with Tony in a body bag while Omen watched them all from the roof of the building.
While the police were still trying to figure out who had killed Tony, Omen ran along the rooftops again. He disappeared into the night and left everyone to wonder where the legendary assassin would strike next.
