Batman pulled up a video, "This video was sent to the Justice League about two hours ago."

Batman played the video and someone Omen recognized as Vandal Savage showed up on the screen. "Hello Justice League, I'm sure you're wondering why we've decided to contact you. Well it's quite simple, we know about the assassin you've decided to work with and we decided to challenge you."

"If you can find us and beat us you can take us to jail, if you can't then millions of people will die. If you decide to not try and find us people will die anyway and you'll have no idea how to save them. If you decide to try and find us you'll need the assassin, without him you'll have no hope of finding us. You have forty eight hours, good luck."

All of the heroes looked a bit shocked while thoughts were racing through Omen's head. Batman turned to the team, "They're calling out Omen specifically, it's obvious that they have something planned but we don't know what." Everyone looked at Omen who seemed like he wasn't phased in the slightest by any of this.

Omen shrugged, "Well if they do then so be it, but you are the heroes and they threatened to kill people. Whether they have something planned or not doesn't matter if lives are in danger, isn't that how every hero speech goes? Well at least the gist of it does, of course I'm not a hero but I'm also not an idiot, you'll go after them either way."

Aqualad crossed his arms, "Apparently we'll also need your help to find them."

Omen shrugged, "Seems like it, I'll help but under one condition."

Batman raised an eyebrow, "And what would that be?"

"I do this my way, no one can tell me not to do something and I get to do what I want."

Batman thought for a moment, "If you go anywhere I want at least two people to go with you."

Omen shrugged, "Fine, as long as they don't get in my way I don't really care." Omen put his hands in his pockets while most of the heroes glanced at one another.

Batman nodded, "Fine, so what did you have in mind?"

Omen smirked, "I'm going to call in a few favors." Omen said he'd be back in a bit and he made the lights flicker before he left the mountain and retrieved his laptop. Omen was back at the mountain within ten minutes and Omen noticed that the other mentors, as well as Red Arrow, were there.

Omen looked at all of them, "Well this is going to be interesting, by the way, you can't arrest any of the contacts I use to help you." Omen opened his laptop and began typing as the heroes looked confused and Omen went to the living room. Omen seemed to be completely focused, he was more serious then any of them had ever seen him.

Omen was talking to one person after another, he'd have to do a bit of running around to get the information he needed. After taking over an hour to contact people he closed his laptop and looked at the heroes. "I've got to go to a few places to get some information, so who wants to go on a field trip?"

After several minutes of debating it was decided that three people would go with him to each location. For the first one he had to go to see an informant he didn't like all that much, he had to go to a bar. Superman, Aqualad, and Superboy were going with him for this one and Omen had to program the zeta tubes to take them to the city they needed to go too.

The town didn't have any heroes protecting it but a few stopped by to get information or find a criminal. Omen looked at the heroes, "Here's the deal, don't cause any trouble and let me handle everything. The people we're going to see don't really like heroes but they'll leave you alone as long as you don't piss them off."

With that warning they made their way to the bar Omen had to go to, hopefully the heroes wouldn't cause any trouble. They got to the bar and the heroes glanced at each other before Omen opened the door, everyone looked toward the door when it opened. When they saw Omen none of them would look him in the eye but they glared at the heroes.
