13: My sister's death
14: My depression
15: Hayley's dad's death
Her POVI woke up and stared right up into a certain familiar ceiling. It was the one I wake up to everyday. Duh. But wait, didn't I fall asleep in the living room?
I check my bedside clock and saw that it was still 8:00. I still have a lot of time to prepare since my first period starts at 9:00.
I then noticed a sticky note on my clock.
Alex,
I carried you to your room last night. I also finished your homework, it's in the kitchen with a Chocolate Chip Frap from Starbucks. I hope you like it. I'll see you during classes.
Xoxo,
RenI smiled to myself. Ren was the sweetest human being in the whole world.
I went to the kitchen and drank my drink and went to get ready. I decided on a black hoodie with ripped jeans.
Ding Dong
I opened the door and bumped straight into a wall, a green one as a matter of fact.
I looked and saw him smirking at me. Don't judge me. I was a freaking 5 footer while he was like 5'10 or something.
"Good morning, my dearest Hayley." She while handing me a bag of waffles.
"Why do you keep on calling me Hayley?" I asked out of the blue.
"Ouch, not even a thanks? It's because everybody calls you Alex. Hayley is special and only I can call you that." He said while looking at me with those eyes. For a moment I thought I saw an emotion flash through his eyes but it went away as soon as I saw it.
"Thank you, Sir V, I deeply appreciate this kind act you have showed me. My deepest gratitude sir." I said while mocking a sincere tone.
"V huh?" He said while chuckling.
"V for Vernon, why something wrong with that?" I asked him.
"Well of course not princess, anything for my royal Highness." He said as we both chuckled and went for school. For a moment everything went fine.
Only for a moment.
