Part 25 - Senior Year and Parents

So today Herff Jones came and visited my school. Herff Jones is the company that makes the class rings and the graduation caps and gowns and whatnot. Juniors get the presentation about class rings while seniors get to talk about cap and gowns. Talking about ordering my cap and gown for graduation just made it so much more real that THIS is my last year in high school.

Its slightly overwhelming knowing that.

So today there is a scrimmage game after school. Each game should only last like 20 minutes max, BUT because it is basketball they will find a way to make it last two hours each. Our band teacher keeps giving us new music, AND HE ISNT LOOKING AT SOME OF OUR OLDER STUFF!!!

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH

BAND INFURIATES ME!!! He keeps giving us brand new stuff. The new songs may be awesome, but we also need to look at the older stuff as well. 

Anyways, Turkey Trot is coming up. Turkey Trot is a festival here where I live. One of the things they do is that they drop turkeys from a plane and who ever is able to catch a turkey can keep it. You can't start chasing them until they touch the ground.

I remember that last year Mr blasdel caught one and he was just covered in dirt and grass and mud. He went feral on this turkey so he could catch it. He named the turkey Tom.

Update (10-19-17)

So I forgot to update after completing some more of the previous part. It's a week later right now. So tonight Josh is coming over to meet my family and have dinner.

Let's just hope that he doesn't get hurt it scared off. I really like this one so *shrugs*

Wednesday I went onto a college campus tour of Northark and I love this college. My plan of going here for two years looks like its going to happen. Yay!!!

So in my last update, you know how I said that my parents went out of town for mom's birthday? I was told they were going to Branson, Missouri but after a day of them being gone, mom sends me a picture of food from a fast food place called Blake's Lotaburger. This place is mostly in New Mexico, maybe there's a couple in Arizona or Colorado or maybe Texas. BUT MOSTLY IN NEW MEXICO!!!

My parents took a trip to New Mexico without me! I wanted to go back home too! But they sent me pictures of them eating at our favorite spots over the next few days. It was only when that she sent me a picture of them eating Tuscano's in Albuquerque that I straight up ignored them the rest of the time. Tuscano's is an all you can eat Brazilian grill and it is amazing. Expensive as hell, but amazing.
