Halloween

Hey guys

So i love halloween. I love watching horror movies, making spooky treats, decorating, and carving pumpkins. The whole shebang.

Josh however, doesnt like halloween. He said he finds it boring, which i can understand since i find christmas boring other than presents. The decorations is always red, green, and gold in its many variations and theres a whole religious feel to it because it is supposedly Jesus's birthday.

Anyways, so he finds halloween boring but here i am, finally excited for the first time in years for halloween because now i have someone to share it with me. I now have someone to carve pumpkins, drink hot coco, and watch certain halloween movies (since a certain somebody doesnt like horror *cough cough* josh *cough cough*) and maybe possibly make spooky rice krispie treats, and if i didnt have work go trick or treating. Halloween is that one holiday that makes me feel like a child again.

But he said no to doing all of this since he finds it boring. Of course this upsets me, and i have tried everything i could, without him getting truly mad at me, to make him do something.

Nope. Nothing.

So of course at that point, i was no longer excited. My parents are far too busy to do something and we are having troubles with money, my closest friends live about an hour away and they dont know where exactly i live so i would have to lead them to my house which would have been a 2 hour drive total, and my boyfriend basically shut down my excitement for the holiday.

So at that point i just decided to stay in and watch anime or something. You know, ignore people. And an old friend of my family messages me and he finds out whats up and he said he would carve pumpkins with me since my "idiotic boyfriend of mine wont do shit that you are excited for with you". So yay i get to carve pumpkins!

Or so i thought.

He had to cancel our plans because life happened. So now im basically all alone again.

Question

Isnt your boyfriend/girlfriend supposed to do stuff with you, even though they dont quite want to do it, because youre excited for it?

I was extremely excited to do stuff this year and he said no and he refuses to do any halloween anything, because he finds it boring.

Yeah i may have accidentally put my boyfriend on my friends shit list for this but oh well.

But like, if he wanted to go do something that he was super excited to do, i would give it a try. I have done this in the past.

We once went to six flags and there was this ride called Superman. It was one of those rides where its a tall tower and you go really high up before it drops you. I hate those rides. Just those ones. Ill ride everything else, but those.

Josh really wanted me to ride it with him so i did. I nearly passed out from fear but i went on the ride.

Now i went and did something that he wanted to do despite me being terrified, and yet he wont carve pumpkins this year because he finds halloween boring.

Is there something im missing here?
