I woke up and stood out of my room. I ran into Madison's room and barged in. She was still up and the bags under her eyes were a dark shade of purple. I winced at the sight and went over to her. "Moon Goddess warned me again." She took her attention off of the wall and looked at me with a horrified expression. "I'll call a meeting," her voice was barley audible. I watched her stand up in her blood soaked clothes and followed her outside to the meeting area. Everyone come for a Pack meeting. It's urgent.

I sat down below Madison and watched her command the pack. She did very well for what i saw yesterday. I watched as four wolves pulled into our territory. The fighters had guns trained on them, the only ones we had. Scouts were surrounding them in a tight circle as two men stepped out. "Alpha Zachary of Feathered Sun Pack. We're here to help." The scouts backed up and let the men walk to me and Madison. There was still another two wolves in the back of the car. I looked at them, their pack markings were evident, and the Alpha had curly dark hair, and who I guessed was a scout had red hair.

"I'm here to speak with Beta Tara and Alpha Madison." I stepped forward to them, "I'm Tara. What exactly did we need help with?" Zachary put on a blank expression. He made hand sign to the other wolf and lo and behold, stood Camille. Her hair was slick with sweat and her shirt full of blood. "The Battle happened last night. We know that you need backup and I've been notified by this one right here, and Moon Goddess." I pulled my lips into a tight line and nodded. "I will inform you that we have Pack members scattered around the territory, they're willing to shoot anyone who passes the border." The alpha nodded at Madison's words. "We live a few miles from your forest," he started.

Madison hushed him when she heard a stick crack from the far far right. She saw a boy, it was Eric. He made a large battle cry and charged at us with the rest of his pack behind us. Way more than before. I ran to the nearest hollow tree and found the sets of bow and arrows that we keep hidden and slung the quiver over my back and started shooting the arrows. I heard leaves crunch behind me and I loaded and arrow and looked around. I smelled the scent of Zachary, and figured it was his pack.

I was right, about sixty wolves came charging through the forest and into the clearing that we held our pack on. I followed them, a loaded arrow in my bow. I shot the first one I saw, she went limp and her eyes rolled back into her head. I resisted the urge to throw up. I thanked Moon Goddess that we knew to put the kids into the secret room so I can be out here and help. I saw more of Andrews pack piling in. I took the chance and shot a few. There were wolves this time and the white fur of Amy was stained in blood. I ran to her wolf form who cried out in pain. I struggled to pick her up and smelled the sugar and roses from before and magically, she wasn't heavy. I ran to where the doctor wolves were and set her on an emergency table. The doctors stayed in and worked on her.

I ran back out and saw the fight going on. With the Shattered Moon Pack, and about a fourth of Feathered Sun Pack, we weren't outnumbered. My pack was still struggling from the past fight so I decided to go out and help. I saw Madison corner a redhead, she couldn't be more than 16, but the look in her eyes were deadly. Madison didn't have any trouble taking her down. I was running everywhere until I bumped into a giant guy. He was an enemy. He quickly put me into a chokehold, I couldn't breathe.

I felt tears well up in my eyes and I gasped and gasped for air. I felt my life flash before my eyes and before the last memory played, he let go. I looked at the person fighting him off and my wolf cried out that he was my mate. I couldn't keep my eye open so I let them close. I could still feel and hear everything but I couldn't open my eyes. I felt someone pick me up and run. I landed on a cold metal table. "You don't understand! She's my mate! Save her now!" I couldn't hear my wolf but I know her heart was breaking at his words. "We're trying," a doctor replied smoothly.

I heard him run back out and help. I tried to open my eyes. I tried desperately to see my mate, to see his face, to memorize his features, to say that I'm okay. I couldn't. My eyes wouldn't open, my mouth wouldn't talk, my hands wouldn't move. I'm stuck for Moon Goddess knows how long.
