I woke up beside Leyton. I went to talk but remembered my throat. I tapped his shoulder and waited for him to wake up. He opened his perfect electric blue eyes and smiled at me. Can we go do something today? "Sure. We have to get you your medicine first though," I stood up and tried to walk but ended up fainting. I heard Leyton run from the room into Madison's room and call for her to come watch me. I heard her light footsteps and her drop to her knees beside me. I tried desperately to reach out toward her but I was out.

I woke up on my own bed with the doctor beside me. My eyes felt droopy and I couldn't see straight so I closed my eyes again. I could hear them, and feel them, I just couldn't do anything about it.

"You never said she couldn't walk around," Leyton said calmly. "True but now she's on bed arrest. I'll give her two guards to make sure she doesn't try to get up. We can't have our Beta going missing or dying." I could picture Leyton shaking his head. I heard sobs coming from the corner of the room. I recognized them as Madison's.

"Madison. You need to sleep." I heard the door open and heard sets of steps come in. "We're here for guards?" It surprised me that the doctor assigned them that quick. The voice sounded like James'. "Yes. Please keep her from getting out of bed," he took a deep breath, "and James keep Madison in bed as well." I heard Madison and James move from my room to her room. I wondered who was in here for me other than Leyton. "Thank you for coming in Jade." I mentally rolled my eyes. Her real name is Madison but she goes by Jade. I've never really liked her, but then again I don't like most people.

I tuned out everyone and tried to sleep for a while and ended up succeeding.

"So since she's sleeping, want to go do something?" That snapped me out of my dreams. I prayed to Moon Goddess that he would say no. "She clearly needs us to be here. Why don't you do your job?" He replied with a cold tone. I internally smiled and opened my eyes. Leyton looked down at me with his big blue eyes and smiled back. "Are you okay?" Jade butted into our conversation, "you know she can't talk right?"

I'm doing good. Could you get her to leave? Leyton chuckled and instead of saying something out loud he linked back.

I wish I could but she was assigned to us. I frowned and crossed my arms. I grabbed the remote from beside me and turned the T.V. on. The show spongebob came on and I laid my head back and listened. I don't understand why I can't stand anymore. Do you think it's just because the loss of oxygen that night? Leyton looked at me, "yeah most likely." The look on Jade's face made me want to keep linking Leyton, but it was using a lot of energy.

It was about three hours of doing nothing later and I just wanted to get up and go somewhere. Being snuggled against Leyton's chest is good and all but I want to go somewhere. "Princess, do you want to get some fresh air? I can carry you outside?" Yes please. Sure enough, Leyton got up and picked me up bridal style. He walked to Madison's room and we both saw something we'd never think that we would ever see. They were holding hands. Leyton slowly walked passed and got into the elevator.

We walked outside into the cold air. I pointed toward the forest area and he walked to it. I sat propped up on a tree and watched him shift. He was a ginger with a lighter blond underbelly he also had a white ear. His bright blue eyes were still present in his wolf form. He came up and nudged me. I was cold so I hugged his wolf form which was warm. You're so warm, I wondered what his wolf's name was. Alpine. I smiled and took a deep breath of the fall air.

The leaves fell down off the trees as a strong gust of wind came through, bringing the scent of Moon Goddess. I heard her sweet voice whisper into my ear, "don't give up on using your voice," she said. I gulped and saw her figure. Is this real life I wondered. Before I could ask anymore questions I was transported to the Moon Waters. "What?" I asked confused. My voice wasn't scratchy. "Moon Goddess what's happening," I asked. "Don't let him get away," her calming voice said.

I woke up on the same day that the second attack happened. "What is going on?"
