Upside Down

             I saw the guy and Moon Goddess. I saw him unlock the cage that she was in. "Tara, Madison, I am going to give Leyton and James their lives back." I looked to Madison and saw her mouth turn into a smile. I watched Moon Goddess glow and saw the souls come out of her, two wolves and two humans.

     "I have erased their memories as well and I have erased this entire thing. You two will be back to normal for sacrificing mates for me." Then I saw the man come up from behind her and they started fighting. Moon Goddess was below him and was being choked. I went to go fight, "no Tara." Madison looked away as the blue tint from her skin faded and her hair turned to a dull brown. She wasn't Moon Goddess anymore. Who would be Moon Goddess now?

         "I'll be back for you, Tara." We both woke up and saw Leyton and James talking. It was like we just walked in. "Tara. Are you okay?" I nodded and looked to Madison who was hugging James.

        I made it back to the hospital room and laid down. Leyton laid beside me and hugged me. I turned the T.v. on and The Walking Dead was on. I watched the show until I got hungry. "Wanna eat lunch?" Leyton nodded and got up. He picked me up bridal style and took the stairs down. As he sat me down onto the ground I got the meal they were serving. Chicken tenders and fries. I wait for Leyton to get his and we walked back up to the room. "Your bruising is gone," he said looking at my neck.

       I blushed at the way he was looking at me. He looked like he wanted to do something. We sat on my facing each other and I started eating. "You know I love you more than words can explain right," I asked looking at him. He nodded and replied, "I bet I love you more." I shook my head, "no you don't." My mind went fuzzy again and I heard Moon Goddess' voice, "I'll visit you tonight, protect yourself." I shook my head. "Wanna get out of here?"

         Leyton carried me to the packhouse where we went to my room. He laid on my bed which was much bigger than the hospital bed. He sighed and looked at me, "I've been getting very jealous of the ways that the boys look at you. Can I mark you?" I blushed a deep red and thought for a moment. "Yes."

        He stood up and pushed me against the wall. My entire body was shaking. He pulled the neck of my shirt down to expose my collar bone. I watched as he bit down on the juncture between my neck and shoulder. I cried out in pain. It caused a burning sensation that was replaced with a feeling of pleasure. As he finished the place was super sore. I marked him back. "Officially mates," he said kissing the spot where he marked me. "Y-yeah," I stuttered. He looked at me and connected our lips.

        It felt like literal fireworks as his soft lips moved on mine. I moved my arms to his neck and he placed his hands on my hips. We didn't stop until I had to breathe. I took the chance to kiss his mark and he shuddered. "Don't tease," he said in a deep voice. I shook my head and walked away from him and hopped onto my bed. "I missed this thing," I said patting the blankets. I turned on the t.v. and Spongebob played. He laid down beside me and I straddled his waist and hugged him.

         "I love you, Leyton," I said kissing his cheek. "I love you too Tara." We spent the afternoon watching spongebob and talking. It was about 8:30 p.m. when we decided to go get some dinner. I walked down with his hand in mine. Sheila turned around and faced us, "my kiddo has a mate!" She yelled and hugged me. I missed her.

       She made pizza for dinner. I sat down in a seat at the table beside Leyton. I saw Madison and James walk down. I could smell the scent of their marking now. I guess once you get marked, you get warned about the others that have been marked. Madison sprinted toward me, "you're finally better. I miss that voice of yours." I smiled at her and mind linked her he marked me! Madison winked at me and mouthed 'I know.'

         I saw Dega walk in with Aidan, I could see her searching for me. "Hey Tara! I'm glad you're out of the hospital." I saw Madison give her brother a wink since their hands were laced together. "Hello Sheila! Can we eat with you guys?" I nodded and watched them sit down. I was eating pizza and when I was full I waited until Leyton was done. We left the table and went into my room.

         "I'm going to bed," I said and rolled over in my bed.

           I woke up beside the Moon River. "Hello, Tara. I'm not dead, but I'm on my last life. I want you to know that Damion is going to be out for you, and if you do die, you will become Moon Goddess after me." I shook my head, "I have no idea what being the Moon Goddess is, I'll ruin things." Moon Goddess put her cold hand to my face, her skin was glowing once again and her white hair was back. "You were destined for that role." Moon Goddess returned to the Moon, but I was still dreaming. I looked around and saw a glowing tree.

        I put my hand to it and felt the coldness of the bark. It was like my body lost all worries and I was free. I saw myself start glowing as well, instead of the baby blue that Moon Goddess was, I was glowing navy. I smiled and looked into the reflection. I looked flawless.

    

       Perhaps when the time comes, Moon Goddess will be my role in the world.
