“So how was your night with the boys?” Ted smiled. He and the rest of Vie’s family were incredibly thrilled that she was coming out of her shell to these boys.
“Good.” Violet said and continued to pack up her stuff, her voice void of emotion like it had been before.
“What happened?” Ted’s smile dropped immediately, what had happened? They weren’t suppose to leave for a week.
“We went out for dinner that was it.” Again her voice was devoid of emotion.
Ted grabbed her shoulders,” Violet why are you acting so different?”
Violet’s eyes flashed in anger,” I am not acting different. You and the rest of the family need to stop trying to get me out of my shell.” Ted’s eyes widen, they didn’t think she’d known about that, she saw his surprise,” What do you think I am five of course I know I’m here to make friends and go back to who I used to be. The thing you don’t understand is that maybe I’m just not that person anymore, okay. Maybe I just don’t want to be her anymore. I’ve changed that happens to people in life.”
Ted was stunned, but they wanted emotion and she gave them emotion,” You well not treat me that way young lady!”
“First off I act how I want to act. Second my 18th birthday is in one week. ONE WEEK! I won’t have to be controlled by you guys anymore.” Violet held up seven fingers,” February 26.”
“I know when your birthday is. I am your uncle.”
“Yeah will I am actually going to live with my other uncle. My mom’s brother because I don’t like this anymore and he doesn’t force things upon me.” Violet said as she sat upon her suitcase to try and get it closed.
“You can’t move who your guardian is, that’s not how it works.” Ted said, he really didn’t believe what he was hearing.
“No but my legal guardian, Grandma Mary, can and she has decided to.” Violet said her voice went back to the emotionless state it was in before.
Ted stood there motionless for a few minutes as Vie walked past but he snapped to and held the door open for her. It dawned on Ted, the boys would know what caused the sudden change in attitude,” I’m sorry that I couldn’t help. But I’ll always be here for you, I am your uncle. I love you, and your father and your mother and your brother.”

Ted walked into the interview room and found the boys chatting rather loudly amongst each other, he sat his papers down and with less enthusiasm as he had in past days like this spoke,” Okay this is your last interview in Union City then we’ll have a week in America before we all head back to London, we leave the 25th. You have a concert the 24th please don’t kill yourselves.”
“Hey where is Vie?” Zayn asked looking around the room,” We were with her last night.”
“She has decided that until her birthday she is going to stay with another relative in Washington.” Ted said making sure not to let any anger show to the boys.
“Do you know why?” Liam said no longer smiling.
“I was actually hoping you guys could tell me? You were the last people I know who talked to her before she decided this morning to move in with a different relative.” Ted said and he took a seat in the chair behind the camera, the interviewer wasn’t there yet.
“Well we don’t remember anything.” Liam and Niall said with thoughtful faces.
Harry, Louis, and Zayn remained quiet for a few seconds and Liam and Niall could tell something was off, so could Ted but they all replied similar answers to,” Sorry I don’t know.”
