Violet got up out of the airplane and turned her phone on; she found that she had at least 20 texts from the boys and one from her uncle.
JAMES: Hey we will be waiting for you by the luggage things. Glad to have you with us again.
Violet quickly placed her phone back in her purse and stood up out of her seat to get her overhead baggage. One of the people in first class with her came up to her with a One Direction shirt on,” Hey you look a lot like the girl that One Direction’s been hanging out with. Are you the Jane Doe?”
“Umm no I’m sorry, I don’t know who you’re talking about.” Violet said and continue to take her baggage out of the concealment area.
“Oh sorry, it’s just everyone wants to know who it is and one of the boys admitted to liking her and he said that she had just left them.” The girl said with a regretful tone,” I wonder why she won’t tell us who she is?”
“Which boy said that?” Violet completely ignored the girl’s last comment and continued the topic of what she had first said.
“It was Zayn. If you ask me though, I don’t know why anyone would walk away from him he’s hot.” The girl said with a little anger in her voice,” I hope that girl learns her lesson he seemed pretty sad over her. He deserves someone better like me.”
Violet nodded her head,” Yeah I agree she is not good enough for any of them.”
“Thank you, I know some people who think that Zayn should be with her because it seems like he likes her. But she doesn’t deserve him.” The girl said with evil in her eyes. The hate was starting. Violet smiled and the girl held her hand out,” My name is Diane.”
“Hey I’m Michelle.” Violet shook her hand but she wasn’t sure that telling this girl her real name was the smartest option.
“Nice to meet you Michelle.”
Violet found her uncle and cousin standing over by the luggage claim she was greeted by a hug from her Uncle James,” Hey Vie how have you been doing?”
“Same as always.” James released his niece from a hug and her cousin Caleb went in for a hug.
Violet smiled a genuine smile and laughed when her Caleb said,” Look my baby cousin is smiling. I don’t think I have seen your beautiful teeth for a whole eight months.”
“Caleb. You are only one month older than me. I’m not a baby… and if it matters you’re still in high school, I graduated last year.” Violet said looking up at her towering cousin and his big brown eyes meeting them with her old spark of fierceness.
“Maybe you’ve graduated but I am still a whole month older and that means a lot in every relationship family or friend.” Caleb said with a smirk on his face.
“Okay now we understand why I graduated early and you didn’t. It’s a whole month… oh no…” Violet smirked right back and Caleb stuck his tongue out at her which Violet returned with a competent tongue almost immediately.
Her uncle James smiled,” Okay come on boys and girls we aren’t going to be five are we?” Both of them immediately replied it was the other person’s fault,” Okay we’re done let’s go home now. Caleb grab her bags and bring them out to the car.”
“Yeah Caleb.” Violet said pursing her lips which earned her another tongue stuck out at her by loving cousin.
“Yes your majesty.” Caleb said and he bowed royally to Violet who curtseyed back.
She replied,” You can carry me too.”
“No gonna happen baby cousin.” Caleb said as they walked out toward where the car was parked.
