“Let’s play 20 Questions!” Louis screeched across the bus from Violet. Ted had forced her onto the bus with the boys even though she had almost gotten down on her knees to beg him to let her go alone. Instead she was forced onto the bus by her uncle and dragged onto the bus by Harry despite the fact she was in a walking boot and clearly was limping.
“I call the first question!” Niall almost jumped up out of his seat.
Almost creepily Louis and Harry stared at Vie,” And everyone has to answer every question.”
“What is the best food you’ve ever had?” Niall said with a smile.
Louis said,” Ask good question’s Niall. But I love chips.”
Vie raised her eyebrows in question of whether Lou meant French fries or chips and answered,” There was a small diner in my home town that served the best pizza I have ever tasted.”
“My turn! My turn!” Harry did jump up and he smug said,” When was the last time you snogged? And who?”
All eyes in the car turned to Vie and she said blankly,” Last time I kissed someone was I think several months ago and it was too my old boyfriend Jason.”
That obviously wasn’t the answer they were looking for because the boys slumped down in their seat and each of them answered the question.
Zayn piped up,” Who is single? I am”
“Me.” Liam said he’s face was a little down though.
“Louis’s not, he’s dating Eleanor.” Louis said in third person.
“I like to think of myself as open for duty.” Harry said with a grin.
“I am single.” Niall said, it wasn’t a big surprise.
They all turned to Violet and she almost laughed at how they hung to her silence,” I’m single.”
“Do you like anyone? And who?” Liam asked then he answered with a smile,” Not that I’m sure of.”
Zayn smiled and didn’t answer so the heads turned to Harry sitting next to him,” I don’t like to lower my radar down to just one girl.”
Niall smiled,” Not really.”
All eyes turned to Violet again expecting a strong answer that was amazing she said,” No I don’t like anyone.”
Zayn took the time to ask another two question,” Do you have any tattoos? What about piercings?”
Everyone turned to Violet although they didn’t expect her answer,” I have three tattoo’s, and my ears and belly button pierced.”
“Oh what are your tattoo’s of?” Harry asked, all of the boys eyes widened in shock. They couldn’t picture Violet with tattoos or piercing.
Vie didn’t understand how this tattoo question related to everyone in the group when she was the only one who had answered the question about having tattoo’s to begin with but she still answered,” I have music notes, a feather that says someday I’ll fly away, and a tattoo that says be brave.”
“Show us.”
“That doesn’t sound like a question.” Vie said faking suspicion of the boys, she didn’t understand why it was such a big deal she had tattoo’s.
Liam leaned forward,” Well, will you please show us?” He let a smile escape though his lips.
Vie smiled,” Just so you know that is your 10th question and yes I’ll show you. I’m actually really surprised you didn’t know I had tattoos or at least one considering it is really noticeable.” Violet turned her head so the left side showed and just below the back of her ear there were four music notes; two barred eight notes, and two unbarred eighth notes. Her hair was dark brown but it was cut like a pixie cut so her tattoo showed easily.
