Standing on top of one of the tallest buildings in the city had never been so thrilling, so risky, yet so tempting.

You want to jump.

That's why you're here. You came straight from school. You've had enough of the bullcrap and all the weight on your shoulders. You've had enough of the mental pain you go through every day. It's just so tiring and emotionally wrecking.

There were a lot of contributing factors such as to why you were standing two feet from the edge of this skyscraper. You had no friends. You were failing your grades. Your parents were getting divorced. Everyone in the damn world was happier than you.

And, no, you're not being a whiny baby about it - not in your point of view. You've tried and tried but struggled to see the point of living. You had no siblings, no friends, no family. What else is there for you in this world except pain?

You've had enough, and you decided that if you were gonna end this, you were gonna spend the last few minutes of your life with the wind in your hair and the breeze blowing on your face.

You walked towards the short wall that held you in and kept people safe from falling - ironic. You took off the backpack you were wearing and slowly placed one foot on the ledge.

Do I really want this? Second thoughts clouded your head. I just want the pain to be over.

So you set both feet firmly on the unstable wall, daring yourself to look down. When you did, you almost puked.

I just want the pain to be over.

But you couldn't bring yourself to it. You couldn't. Whether it was fear or doubt stopping you, you didn't know. But right now, you weren't so sure if you were ready to die yet.

So you closed your eyes, and counted.

1.

2.

3.

And stepped over the edge.

It wasn't as blissful as you thought it would be. Every thought you had of having a few last moments of peace? Bullshit. It felt like hell. The wind was too cold and stung your face, and the air blew too hard you couldn't even keep your mouth closed properly.

You didn't know if you were nearing the edge, but you knew this was the end.

You forced your eyes shut once again. Your life flashed before you. Memories of birthday parties and winning trophies, falling in love, laughing with your parents. Your whole life. In one second. It's like the whole positive paranorma of your life decided to appear just before you died.

You wished you hadn't jumped.

Then suddenly, a searing pain washed over your whole body. This is it. I'm dead. It was like a massive truck ran into you.

"WHAT WERE YOUTHINKING?! " your eyes peeled open, and a familiar popular persona appeared in your line of vision.

He was clad in his signature red mask, and his red and blue suit. You saw him once, but never up close.

Spiderman.

"Y/N, tell me, WHY would you do that? " he cried. You were so shocked by the pain that you didn't even realize you were covered in scars that were bleeding, head to toe. You were also surrounded by broken glass. You saw now that Spiderman had smashed the both of you into a large window that belonged on the building you were standing on top of just a few moments ago.
