I look at the TV, as if I'm in a stare down with someone. Tyler's messages kept floating around my brain. I couldn't stop thinking about it.
It felt so wrong. Tyler was like a brother to me and he was with Jenna, after all.
Josh gently shakes my shoulder. "You okay there?" I nod my head, barely moving from my position. "Yeah... just spaced out." I turned to face him and he gave me a soft smile.
"Tyler's coming to watch you while I go run a few errands." I frown at Josh's words. "I can take care of myself." I state, my tone stern. "He's not going to bite." Josh chuckles. "Sure..."
The doorbell rings and Josh jumps off the couch like it's on fire. "Ty Ty!" He hugs Tyler quickly before grabbing his keys. "I'll be back soon!"
Tyler closes the door, trying not to slam it, and give a shy wave. I roll my eyes before approaching Tyler. "Hey, be careful. Josh told me it's not the best for you to stand up." He says calmly. "Why did you send me that?" The tall male only blinks. "What do you mean?"
"Don't play dumb with me, Joseph." I grit my teeth, slightly irritated. He tilts his head to the side. I grab my phone and show him the text messages.
His face goes white, it practically looks like the walls in the living room. "Oh my God, what did I do?!" Tyler whisper screams while covering up his face. "What?"
"T-that wasn't meant for you, it w-was for Jenna!" The man removes his hands from his face. "And I told her to text you on my phone earlier..."
"Oh my God Tyler, I'm so sorry..." He shakes his head like a wet dog after a bath. "I-it's okay."
Splotches of gold and black appear in my vision, making me squint. Tyler starts swaying side to side. "You look funny..." I say, before everything went black.
"Y/N? Earth to Y/N." A small voice says. I try to sit up, but my headache stops me from doing so. "Don't get up. You're okay." Who's talking to me? Tyler? Josh? I tried process everything, but it just made my head hurt even more.
"W-what happened?" I mumble. "You were dehydrated and passed out." I open my eyes slowly, the scenery was too bright to fully look at.
I pull my hand towards my face and someone immediately pushes it back down. "You need to keep your arm still." I look down to see an IV right next to me.
The person talking to me was no longer at the bedside, they were talking to the doctor and the other male was sitting in a chair watching the pair chat.
The doctor finally leaves and the two men walk towards me. "You're awake." One says, intertwining our fingers. "Mhm," I say, drowsily.
"Why am I here?" My voice dry and quiet. I'm surprised I can talk at all. "Guess you didn't drink enough water." I let out a brief sigh and then turn to the person on the other side. "Can I go home?" The one on the left just laughs. "Not yet."
