Dozens of teens flood in and out of the small lobby as I wait for Jenna. I look at some of the girls outfits as they walk by. Some a bit risqué and others showing barely any skin. One of the taller girls walk past the bench I'm sitting at as she heads towards the door. She had on a long sleeve crop top with shorts that showed a bit too much.

Would Josh likes this?

"Hey, Y/N!" Jenna yells, skipping through the door. "Hey," I say, calmly.

"Whatcha looking at?" The blond asked, looking at the entrance. "See that chick with the crop top?" I whisper. "Yeah?"

"Do you think Josh would like that on me?" I ask, truthfully.
"Y/N, you don't need to impress him. Only do this if you want to." The corners of my lips drops and I nod.

"Game Z, you're up." A loud voice said. Jenna and I got up and made our way to the entrance. They handed us a vest with a gun attached to it and quickly entered the dark room.

"Looks like no one is playing Game Z. You'll have to go against each other." We shrug in unison before going into different doors.

"Ten..."

I sprint to the nearest ramp. Luckily my door was closest to it.

"Eight..."

I search for shelter, just in case Jenna shoots me.

"Five..."

I look at the first floor to see Jenna is gone.

"Four... three... two... one..."

"Heya, Y/N!" Jenna screams before hitting my back target and running off. "Jenna Joseph, that's not fair!" I say, while trying to find her.

A green light illuminates from the other side of the level. "No, no, no." A smirk crawls up my lips as I aim my gun at her chest. "Sorry, Jen."

We run around for a good thirty minutes.

I place my hands on my thighs and pant heavily, gasping for air. the intercom comes on and we head out of the arena.

"That was so much fun!" Jenna twirls me and then starts to walk to the car. "How are you not tired?"

"Tyler has energy drinks lying around."

I yawn and shuffle my feet on our way to the parking lot. "Y/N, are you okay?" Her tone full of concern. "Y-yeah, I'm f-f-fine."

"If you were fine, you wouldn't be shivering in eighty degree weather." Jenna states. "Go home and get some sleep, alright?" I nod and get into my car.

I dial Tyler's number as I continue to drive. The phone rings for a few seconds before a groggy voice answers the phone.

"Turn down your air conditioning."

"Fine." The car starts to heat up and beads of sweat appear on my forehead.

"I have a fever."

"Do I need to come over?"

"No, I think I just need to sleep."

The line goes dead and I roll my eyes. Tyler is probably going to be watching me like a hawk and swatting away Josh when he gets too close.
