It doesn't take long to outrun a lady. We turn around a corner and we nearly almost get run over by a car.

"Whoa..." Daehyun pulls me to the sidewalk.

The driver gives us a nasty look and drives away.

"Anger issues he has!" I mutter.

We are exasperated and breathless, our hands on our knees.

All of a sudden Daehyun starts laughing. I stare at him momentarily and I couldn't help but burst out in laughter too.

We stood there for a good few minutes laughing our heads off.

"That was fun!" Daehyun spoke between fits of laughter.

"Haha yes...!" I replied tears streaming down my face, clutching my stomach.

We walked to the really good bakery right around the corner that had the best cheesecake in the world.

Flinging open the door we walked in to see the bright positive face of MinJi.

"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be at school?" I ask surprised to see her working.

"Uh, yeah. They needed an extra person. So they told me to work...More money you know?" She replied uneasily.

I quickly changed the topic. I knew that MinJi didn't have a family that could really support her. I felt bad.

"This guy wants that awesome strawberry cheesecake, you guys make!" I exclaim.

"Cough cough...correction...boyfriend!" He interrupted, shuffling around looking at the ceiling, acting as if nothing happened.

I sighed and looked at MinJi pointing at him and doing the crazy sign with my hand.

She laughed and pointed at the display case filled with pastries.

"This one?" She asks Daehyun who is now staring at the cheesecake in wonder, his face stuck to the glass.

He nods his head up and down, his eyes still wide with amazement. He licks his lips and rubs his hands together, then tears his eyes apart from the case, and looks at me.

"Aren't you going to eat something?" He questions, his head cocked to the side.

"Um...ya! I'll take a drink though!" I aim towards MinJi! "Can I have a milk tea boba?" I ask.

"Sure thing!" MinJi cheerfully replies back, heading towards the kitchen.

We sit down at a small table in the corner of the room next to a big window.

I look out the window my chin rested on my hand. Daehyun sits back and examines me.

"Why are you staring at me?" I asked disturbed.

"You look like a piece of cheesecake...a cheesecake so special, that I would never eat it and preserve it for a long time." He said smiling at me.

"I don't really like being compared to food!" I grumbled.

I stood up to go get the food that should be ready by now, leaving Daehyun to laugh by himself.

I head up to the counter and wait for MinJi for a few seconds before she comes bustling out with our food.

"Here you go! Enjoy!" She bubbled with delight.

I smiled and thanked her, then went back to the table.

I set the cheesecake carefully in front of Daehyun, who immediately began gobbling it up.

I stared at him, watching him eat while I sipped my tea. A piece of cream remains on his lower lip. I throw him a napkin and try to put on a disgusted face, which doesn't work out.

Daehyun pauses and instead of wiping away the cream with his napkin, he leans in towards me and slowly, gently kisses me. The cream dissolves in my mouth. Sweet.
