Chapter 10

We walk out of the nurses office, hand in hand. We see Baekhyun walk by, a grim look on his face, probably heading towards the office for his punishment.

I try to ignore him, I look straight ahead and pull Daehyun along with me.

After we were out of Baekhyun's way, I turned to Daehyun.

"Promise me, you won't fight back, even if he does something rash. Don't get hurt because of me!" I plead.

"Fine." He grunts not looking me in the eye.

I sigh and sit down, my back against the wall. He comes and sits next to me, staring at me.

"Let's ditch school today, shall we?"

He grins brightening up the tense mood.

I slap him on the back playfully and smile, slowly turning into a playful grin.

"Ok! To the Cheesecake Factory!" I shout, my fist pumped into the air.

"Yay! Cheesecake!" He yelps in delight, bolting upright, grabbing my hand and heaving me up to my feet into his arms.

"You're my cheesecake, Sohyun. Remember that!" He whispers into my hair.

I smile and lock my arm in his.

"Ok, I won't!" I giggle with delight.

He flashes my favorite smile and we head to the main door.

We get yelled at on the way out by the front desk lady.

"Hey, what do you think you're doing! Get back here now!" The lady hollers.

Daehyun and I look at each other miming a horrified face, then we laugh and we run out of the school, the lady chasing us right behind our feet.
