Chapter 15

It's not hard to find him. He's in practice room sitting down on a plastic fold-up chair, his head buried in his hands. I walk towards him, a guilty feeling in my chest.

He knew what Baekhyun was going to do, that's why he left because he didn't want to see... He probably thought I said yes...leaving him.

I kneel down, my knees on the hardwood floor. I put my hands on Daehyun's shoulders, comforting him. He shakes it off.

"Go away. You're not my cheesecake anymore." He grumbles.

I look at him sympathetically.

"I am still you're cheesecake, and I will always be your cheesecake, remember that." I reassure him.

He slowly looks up at me, a confused look on his face.

"Didn't Baekhyun ask you?" He questions curiously.

"He did...but I only have one person I love." I confessed.

"And...that's me...?" He questions unsurely.

"Yes." I reply a knowing look in my eyes.

He puts his hands on my shoulders and lifts me up along with him, embracing me into a warm engulfing hug.

"Thank you so much, Sohyun. Thank you!" He thanked over and over again relieved.

I wrapped my arms around his waist, and squeezed him tight before letting go.

His hands still on my shoulders he pulled back, and looked me in the eye.

"Don't ever do that to me again. That's scared me." He explained. "I thought you were going to leave me."

"No I never would!" I stated clearly. "You're mine and I'm yours."

He sighed and gave me one last hug. I tried to squirm out of his grasp, but he only held me tighter.

"Stay like this for a little longer...just a little longer." He whispered into my hair.

I sighed and let my hands limply rest on his waist.

When he finally let go, he looked at me with a sparkle in his eyes.

"I need a little rejuvenation and a prize to come back to before I go, right?"

I nodded my head down like a bobble head, smiling the brightest my smile could go.

He looked at me with adoration in his eyes. Then he said his favorite phrase...

"Shall we?"

And we were off.
