“J-joonmyun? W-what are you doing here?” Dahye stuttered nervously.
Her body slightly shaking but she kept her back straight.

She is always nervous whenever she met Joonmyun.
It's because how his eyes bore into hers.

It can't be explain but when her eyes meet his, shiver runs up her spine.

“Can't I meet you?” Joonmyun asked in soft tone.
No matter how much he vowed to himself that we would hate this woman, he just couldn't do it.

This woman is his first love.
His love is still there, blooming for her.

‘I hate it when someone turns back to their friend for lover.’ Joonmyun said.

Dahye sips water from the bottle and nodded in agreement.
Joonmyun saw a plain silver ring on her finger.

‘You are wearing ring now?’ Joonmyun asked while both of them sitting on the grass.

It's Joonmyun's favourite place, the Gyeong River.
Perhaps it is because his power is water so he felt more comfortable at the river.

Joonmyun did some water tricks when Dahye won't response and she squealed when some water splashed to her bare feet.

Joonmyun smiled in content.

‘Kris give it to me. He asked me to be his girlfriend and I accepted it!’

Joonmyun's eyebrows furrows and his psmile turns into a frown.

‘What?’

Dahye knew Joonmyun first before Kris.
It hurts him to know that Dahye doesn't feel the same for him even though they knew each other more.

And it hurts him to know someone who is more like a brother to him is in a relationship with the woman that he's in love.

It is a start of Kris and Joonmyun's rivalry.

Although Dahye knew that both Kris and Joonmyun are fallen angels from the start, it terrifies her when they started to fight against each other.
She's traumatised for a month.
She had a faint scar on her wrist as a proof of that bloody night.

She swear that she will never get into their fight again.

Dahye is out of town for a year, hoping that the tension between the two brothers would end soon when she's not around.

When she came back to town, Joonmyun left, leaving no trace.
Her friend left.

“I-I just haven't meet you for a long time.” She spoke out in cracked tone.
Tears of joy formed in her eyes.
She is happy to see him after all these years.

Her trembling lips pulled into a tight smile as she hold her tears.

“I missed you. Where have you been, Joonmyun?”

His gaze softened.

She would always cry in high school.
Her classmates saw her crying as weakness but Joommyun see the opposite.

Crying isn't weakness.
Dahye just had been through a lot.

Dahye didn't take a step forward nor backward.
She just stay there because she knew that Kris wouldn't like it if she's too close to Joonmyun.
