When the bell rang for last period I took a deep breath and began to walk to my assigned class. I was put in the beginners fight class because I was new. I looked around for Kathryn and Drew but they weren’t here.

“Hmm, I guess they are in the advanced class.” I thought as I sat in the back row.

“Hello! My name is Kyrato.” She bowed before placing her hands behind her back and grinned lightly.

“Welcome to the beginners class. Okay, so I know some of you might be wondering why you are in here. Don’t worry you will be able to switched to the advanced class if I see if you know what you are doing.” She said looking around.

“Since we are humans, the weapons won’t kill us so you guys will be allowed to hit each other. So, there is no need to be afraid.” She smiled tilting her head slightly to the side.“But, you will get minor injures.”

I smiled lightly when I saw some kids start to relax.

“Okay, uh..” Kyrato paused looking around the room. “You and you come up. You both will be the first to practice.” She said pointing to two kids.

I sat in the back watching as everyone fought.

“Okay, who's left?” Kyrato said sitting on the far end of the fighting ring. I stood up along with two other boys who were sitting in the second row.  The boys walked over and went to stand on the mat. “Do you have a weapon?” She said looking quizzically at me.

“No, ma'am. But, I think I might be able to handle myself.”I said walking over to the mat.

“Roger, transform.” The boy with grey hair and yellow eyes said.

“You got it, Troy.” The boy next to him said. He was slightly taller than him and formed into a huge scythe. Troy spun the scythe around his head before getting in his ready stance. I looked at him with dull eyes showing him I wasn’t impressed with his little trick.

Kyrato stood up and began the match.

Troy charged lowering his weapon to clip my feet from under me. The scythe hit the back of my legs and I fell on the mat. Troy raised his weapon over his head and brought it down. I rolled out of the way and did a back handspring and landed on the opposite side of the mat. I pulled my dagger out that was in the holster on my thigh. We both charged at each other. He did the same thing as before, he put his weapon close to the floor.

“Really the same move.. Doesn’t he know I know what he is going to do…” I thought to myself while I sprinted at him.

When we got close to each other I jumped on the flat side of his weapon and flew into the air. Before he knew what happened I wrapped my legs around his neck and spun around flipping him over me. I landed on top of him and set the dagger to his throat and placed my foot on his wrist where he was holding his scythe.

“Drop it.” I growled putting the blade tighter to his neck. Troy gasped a little as the steel got pressed harder to his throat; he then released Roger. Roger reformed and stood above Troy and I.

“Well done. The match is over.” Kyrato said giving us a light applause. I stood up and put my dagger back in my holder. I bowed to Roger and Troy then looked at Kyrato. “I see that you know how to fight…” She said after I bowed.

“Yes ma’am. My parents taught me.” I replied placing my hands behind my back.

“Well, in that case.. You shouldn’t be in this class. Go to Room Full Moon. Tell Tenaka that I sent you here.” She said smiling. I nodded to her and left.

When I arrived to the advanced class, I found Kathryn sitting next to Drew in the back of the room. Kathryn waved me over and I sat down next to her.
