Eri’s POV
“Good job all of you.” Dr.Stein said when we walked into class.
I plopped down next to Logan and layed my head on his arm that was resting on the table.
“You okay?” Logan asked looking down at me.
“Yeah, just tired.”
“Okay.” Logan said leaning down and kissed the top of my head.
I closed my eyes and fell asleep on Logan’s arm as Dr.Stein gave a boring lecture on his usual topic.
“Eri… Wake up.” I heard Logan’s voice.
I slowly opened my eyes and sat up yawning stretching my arms.
“Hello sleepyhead. Come on class is over.”
“Okay.” I said grabbing my things and got out of my seat. “Lets go check the message board I wanna go on a quick mission.”
“Are you sure? We just got back… Shouldn’t you rest a bit.” Logan said following me.
“Rest is for babies. Lets go.” I said sliding my hand into his and jogged down the hallway.

Logan and I jumped down through the open window on the roof.
I grabbed his arm when he landed pulling him into the dark hallway. I put my finger to his lips to make him go silent.
He nodded and I removed my finger from his face.
I peaked my head out from the wall we were hiding behind and I saw two guys standing guard.
“Logan, bow.” I said. He transformed and I took aim. I fired two arrows.
The arrows hit them in their heads and they disappeared. I sprinted over to them and stuck the souls the quiver.
I continued down the empty hallway till I came to a large door.
I slipped in and shut the door silently behind me.
“Did you get everyone on the list?” I heard a man who was sitting on the front of his desk talking to a scrawny man that stood nervously in front of him.
“Y-yes s-sir.” He slithered out.
“You don’t sound very positive… You don’t want Lady Chaos to get angry at you… Do you? I mean you have seen her power.” The man on the desk said crossing his arms.
“Well,there were some that wouldn’t join us.” The scrawny one said scratching his wrist.
“How many?”
“Twenty-five…” He said slowly. The man in front of him let out a loud half-hearted chuckle and pushing himself off his desk so he was now standing in front of the man.
“You know, our boss isn’t going to be happy to hear that.”
“I-i’m sorry s-” The cowering man said before he got a knife through his chest. The dying man looked up at him with tears in his eyes then he spit out blood and fell to the ground.
I stepped out of the shadow. “Hello sir.” I said rubbing my eyes, trying to look useless.
“Who are you?”
“I’m your new assistant.” I said putting my hands behind my back and swayed back and forth slightly and smiled.
“I didn’t ask for a new assistant..”
“I know.” I said dulling my expression. “Logan.” I said as Logan quickly formed into a sword. Before the man could react I sliced upward cutting him in half.
