Logan’s POV
I leaned against the wall of our apartment, waiting for Eri to finish getting ready.
Man why am I so nervous. I looked down at my hands and they were shaking slightly.
“Logan?” I heard Eri’s voice then a door close. I pushed myself off the wall and smiled at her.
“Woah.” I said taking a look at her.
“What? Is there something wrong?” Eri said looking at me with a concerned face.
“No, its just you look really pretty.” I said wrapping my arms around her waist picking her up slightly so she was at eye level with me. “I love you.” I said then kissed her.
Eri smiled at me and blushed. I set her down and took her hand in mine and we began to walk down the street.
We walked along the lake talking and eating food at any of the stands we pasted.
Eri and I sat down at a bench that was facing the beautiful setting sun. I looked over at Eri who was looking out at the sunset. Her green eyes were lit up with shades of yellows, pinks and purples. I smiled lightly and wrapped my arm around her.
“The sunset sure is beautiful don’t you think.” Eri said resting her head on my shoulder.
“Yeah, just like you.” I said kissing the top of her head.
“Awe you're such a charmer Logan.” Her said giggling lightly.
“Thanks.”I laughing with her.
I took my arm off from around Eri and took a deep breath then stood up. “You okay?”
“Yeah I’m fine.” I said putting my hands in my pockets. “Eri, when we first became partners I thought you were very shy and you kept to yourself a lot. But, when we started to get to know each other better you opened up more to me. I saw a whole new side of you. You were funny, protective, caring and well beautiful. And thats why I love you.” I said kneeling down.
Eri gasped covering her mouth with her hands. Her eyes started to tear up.
“Eri… Will you-”
“AWE! WHAT ARE YOUR TWO LOVEBIRDS UP TO!”I heard Kathryns screeching voice.
I sighed and looked at Kathryn and Drew who were walking up the path. Drew had his hands in his pockets and Kathryn had one of her arms locked in his and the other was waving high up in the air getting out attention.
“What are you doing here?” I said standing up and offered Eri my hand.
“Uh- Well.” Drew said scratching his hair.
“We are on a date.” Kathryn said smiling.
“Seriously, you two.” Eri said looking at them with an arched eyebrow.
“Its a long story. But, I’m happy with it.” Drew said with a small smile.
That was the first time I saw him actually give a smile, when he was with a girl.
“Did we interupt you guys?” Kathryn said.
“No shit you did. Do you not see what is in his hand.” I heard Spencer’s voice. Suki and him then appeared behind a tree and walked over to us.
“Were you spying on us?” Eri asked.
“Ofcourse not. I was just making sure Logie doesn’t pussy out.” Spencer said grinning.
“I wasn’t going to pussy out!”Logan growled.
“Okay, if you're not scared tell Eri what you're going to tell her.”
“I was before I got interrupted!”
“Just speak.”
I sighed then kneeled down in front of Eri. “Eri… Will you marry me?” I said opening up a small box with a ring.
A large smile grew on Eri’s face then she tackled me hugging me tightly.
I stood up helping Eri up. “Is that a yes?” I said blushing.
“Of course it is! Why wouldn’t I say yes.” Eri said pushing me lightly. I stumbled back almost falling into the lake but Eri caught me just in time.
“Are you trying to kill me?” I said taking her hand.
“Sorry.” Eri smiled. I took the ring out of the box and put it on Eri’s finger.
“That was so cute.” Suki said wiping away a tear. “Why can’t you be like Logan.” She cried at Spencer.
“Hey don’t get mad at me.” Spencer said.
I laughed at them wrapping my arms around Eri and smiled at her.
