I knocked on the door of Logan’s apartment and waited patiently for the door open.

“Hey there.” Logan said as he opened the door. I smiled and grabbed some of my boxes and walked in side. Logan stepped around me grabbing the rest of my boxes and followed me inside.

“I love your place!” I said looking around. The apartment was really modern.

“Thanks. Come on, I will show you, you’re room.” Logan said walking down the hall. When I got into my new room I walked over to my bed and placed the boxes down.

“Where do you want me to put these?” Logan said looking at me holding some boxes.

“Anywhere is good.” I said smiling. “Thanks for helping me.”

“Its no problem.. I mean we are partners after all.. And what kind of weapon would I be if I didn’t help you with a simple task..” Logan said smirking slightly.

I laughed at him then started to open my boxes and put things away. “Okay, well.. Have fun unpacking.” He laughed as he closed the door leaving me to unpack.

When I finished unpacking I went to go and take a shower.

When I finished taking a shower I quickly put on some sweatpants and a tank top and went to see what Logan was doing.

“Hey, I see you are all moved in now.” Logan said from the couch, he was busy playing xbox.

“Yeah. So… what do you wanna do for dinner?” I said running my hand through my hair.

“Uh… I was thinking pizza…” Logan said looking at me for a little then going back to his video game.

I nodded and grabbed the phone to call the pizza place.

When the pizza man got here I paid him and grabbed two slices for Logan and I then went to sit next to him on the couch.

“Thanks.” Logan said with a mouthful of pizza and paused his game.

“So… I don’t really know anything about you.. Tell me about yourself.” I said swallowing my bite of pizza.

“So, how was your life at your old school? Or did you train at the academy?”

“Well, its kind of a sad story… But, whatever if you really want to hear it. I went to a local school all the way until high school. I didn’t really have any friends. The people that called themselves ‘my friends’ would only want something from me. Like, beat someone up. My so called friends would call me a freak and other things behind my back. Then everyone just stopped talking to me.” Logan said rubbing his forearm.

“But, when my parents brought me to the DWMA I finally fit in a made a bunch of friends. So.. Yeah.” Logan said looking up from his pizza to me. I looked at him with sad eyes then he smiled. “Well.. Anyway lets get off of this sad topic. It looks like you’re gonna cry or something.” Logan said giggling lightly.

“I’m not gonna cry!” I growled punching him lightly in the arm.

We continued to talk and got to know each other until Logan decided that we should go to sleep now.

The next morning we quickly ate breakfast and started to walk to school.

I walked next to Logan while he was riding his skateboard.

We went to the corner of our block and waited for a minute. Then I heard a familiar voice come from behind me.

“Hey Eri! Oh, who's your friend?” Kathryn said checking Logan out and smiling at me.
