“Wake up!” I heard Suki’s voice as I was shaken awake. “We are almost there.”
“Alright.” I replied rubbing my eyes and yawning.
“I see you're up now.” Logan said from above me.
I looked up and saw he was sitting above me giving me a grin. I felt my face get hot, I jolted up sitting up right.
“Uh…”I stuttered. “Was I sleeping on his lap!” I thought trying to stop blushing.
“Woah, Eri are you okay? You look like a ripe tomato.” Drew said smirking at me seeing I was blushing like crazy.
“Shut up!” I glared at him as my face started to get more red.
I punched Drew in the chest causing him to lose his breath.
“What the…fuck was that… for!” Drew breathed out gasping for air.
“You devil woman.” Drew said curling up on the floor clutching his chest.
“For being an idiot. Thats why.” I said crossing my arms across my chest and looked away from Drew.
I looked over at Logan who was slightly blushing and looking out at the island.
When we docked on the island we all got out and pulled the boat to shore.
“Okay, Eri what's the plan?” Spencer said sliding his hand across his forehead wiping the sweat from it.
“Okay, since Kathryn and Spencer can see souls we will be able to find them quicker. We need to scope out their location and look for a good spot for Kathryn and Drew to set up in.. Since she will be covering the rest of us. If any of them try and get away, I will go after then. I’m faster than both of you so I can catch up to them quicker. But, Kathryn if you see an open shot take it.” I said as everyone looked at me intently as I told them the plan.
“Okay! LETS GO GET THESE BITCHES.” Kathryn screamed jumping up and down. Everyone started laughing while Drew was trying to hold her down.
“Alright lets move out.” Spencer said.
We walked through the forest until we can to a small little town. “Okay guys, Spencer… Kathryn, do you see anything?” I said.
“Not yet. I think we need to go farther up.” Kathryn said walking up the hill.
“I got something!” Spencer yelled sprinting off to a small building. We sprinted off after him.
“I got a ton of reading that lead to here. Suki!” Suki nodded and transformed. Everyone followed them and transformed.
Spencer walked over to the door and kicked it down.
“There is nothing here.” Kathryn said as she peaked in. I put Logan in the holder that was strapped to my side as I entered the room.
“How is that possible… If Spencer detected them here, it can’t be wrong. Unless.” I thought looking around.
“Stop moving.”I said kneeling down. Everyone looked at me and stopped. I examined the floor looking for footprints and a change in the flooring.
“There.” I said pointing to a spot on the floor that didn’t match the main flooring. I stood up and walked over, I pulled Logan out and stuck him into the space and bent him toward the ground. The flooring popped out revealing a ladder going down.
“Woah! How did you do that?” Spencer said kneeling down next to me looking down the hole.
“My parents taught me how to track. Like find footprints or for instance a hidden passage.” I said grabbing the locket on my necklace.
