Lily was only a little girl when her mom died. After that, her father, the alpha of the Black Floridian pack, became a coldhearted man. He was never really nice to her but after her mom passed away, he became even meaner.
When she turns 16 something happens to Lily, but she doesn't know if she should tell her father and the rest of the Black Floridian pack. She shifts, but not into a wolf. Something the wolves would call 'a kitten' but Lily thinks she is a very strong kitten, a lynx.
The pack finds out about her and she runs for her life.
