Lily's p.o.v

'Come on Will, we have to save her! She's my friend, I can't just leave her there with that abusive boyfriend of her.' I yelled at him. He wasn't listening to me, I could sense it. That got me even more pissed of. Two minutes ago I heard the most horrible scream in my life and it came from my best friend. I wanted to save her but after the phone call, WIll didn't respond to anything.

'Will! Answer me!' I nudged him and that's when he grabbed my arms.

'You have been keeping things from me, haven't you. You're Lily, daughter of alpha Stephan, the one who lost his wife in a rogue attack. He always blamed you. Every time there was a meeting and he was present, he told stories about you and about how you killed her.' He raised his voice at me and looked suspicious.

I nodded and a tear slipped out of the corner of my eye. 'Yes, I have been keeping things from you but I have a reason. I was going to tell you, but I had to know if I could trust you!' If he was raising his voice at me then I was going to do exactly the same.

'What else is there you have to tell me huh? Maybe you should start with your heartbeat. I thought that it was faster than ours because you were nervous or something. I thought that after a while it would go back to normal, but I guess I was wrong. Tell me Lily!' He looked vere pissed of.

I just stared at him, not able to answer his question. If I would tell him, he would probably send me back and my life would end.

'Fine, then don't answer, but I think I already know what you are. There's only one other animal that can shift back to a human and whose heartbeat is faster than a wolf.' He let go of my arms when he realised that he was probably right.

'Fine, you want me to tell the truth. Yes, I'm a lynx. Yes, I'm your archenemy, so what are you waiting for? Lock me up again. Bring me back to my father so that he can torture me and tell te lynx pack to surrender if they want me back alive!' I yelled with tears in my eyes. I ran out of the house as fast as possible and into the woods.

The only place where I could be myself. I left their territory and entered no man's land.

Unknown's p.o.v

We were still looking for her. She was nowhere to be found. We've been looking for her for so long but we can't seem to find her anywhere.

'We heard that a girl ran away from the Black Floridian pack,' he told me. He looked at me and his eyes told me this could be her. I hoped it would be her.

'Go check it out,' I told him. I nodded at him and he took of. 

If it was her, then we could finally end this.

Stephan's p.o.v

'Ok, thanks Kyle. Yeah bye.' I ended my phone call with Kyle. He just told me that Anna had spoken to Lily. She told her everything about our plan. Kyle got out of his mind and he had beaten her unconcious. After Anna woke up, Kyle called me and he told me that Lily found her mate. Some alpha Will. I didn't exactly know which Will, he hadn't told her that. There were four alphas named Will in the States. I guess we all had to pay them a visit sooner or later.

She was gone for about ten days now. I didn't miss her at all, I always hated her. The thing I never understood is why her mother loved her so much. 

I called all the alpha's in the States to ask them if they were on my side and if they wanted to help me track the lynx pack. Once we had found them we only needed to show them Lily. They would probably want her back for the information she collected over the years. I guess that wasn't going to happen that easily.

Lily's p.o.v

The woods were quiet. Here I could finally be on my own. Suddenly, there was a voice in my head and it wasn't Emery, my lynx.

There are certain things you don't understand yet, Lily. But they will come. I will always be here in your mind. My name is Lynea. I'm the goddess of the universe, the one that created your kind, the lynxes but also the wolves. I'm going to tell you something that you probably won't understand, but please try, it's important!

'Why are you in my head?' I asked frightened.

Please calm down. I'm not going to hurt you. Listen. After the great war of the gods, everyone of us had to live on in a human body. I picked your family. You are special Lily. Because you're father is a wolf and your mother a lynx, you became a hybrid. You can shift into both animals. That's why I will always be in your body from now on. You're the purest form that exists. A mix form a wolf and a lynx. Two archenemies.

'What? Are you saying my mother was a lynx as well?' I was shocked. What the hell was happening to me? Was I hallucinating? It had to be, I was talking to myself... Gee, I really needed some friends, this talking in my head really wasn't good for me.

Lily, this isn't funny. You are important! I can't tell you why just yet. It will take time for you to understand, but be careful. You're strong, very strong. You can't let anyone find out about this. This is our secret.

'Wait, don't leave like that! I have a million questions!' I yelled to well, I guess myself. She didn't answer me anymore. I screamed to let out all my frustration. I sat down against a huge tree. A lonesome tree. There were no other trees around it. It stood in the center of a beautiful meadow. I felt like the tree. Alone, dragged away from everything I know. 

What did Lynea mean? She meaning me being the goddess of the universe. Me being a hybrid. My head felt like it was going to explode because of all the information she just gave me. Now I understood what she said. Everything at once would be too much. I had to take it step by step and the first step was going back to Will. I was going to convince him that I wasn't his enemy. That's the truth.

You will get there. At least you understand you have to take it step by step. And remember, I will be there every step of the way. 

I smiled. 'Thanks Lynea.'

Of course she didn't respond anymore. Doesn't matter. I know what to do now. She thought I was strong enough to handle this, so I will be. I will do what I'm meant to do, even if I don't know what it is yet. If Lynea says I'm important then I must be. But I couldn't help being a little scared. She didn't tell me anything about what I was supposed to do. What if I had to sacrifice myself or something? Nah, Lynea wouldn't let me do that. 

Suddenly something flowed into my head.

Wolves and lynxes were fighting in a huge meadow. There was a woman, standing in the middle, under a huge tree. A lonesome tree. She just stood there while everyone was fighting. She tried to climb into the tree, but she was dragged away from it by a bunch of rogues. The rogues weren't fighting for the wolves against the lynxes. No they were there for only one reason, Maryse. 

'We found her Greg,' said an unknown man. The man smirked at her and grabbed her hair. Maryse screamed, but there was nothing she could do. She couldn't shift into her lynx form, that would be to dangerous. If Stephan found out then Lily's future would be ruined. 

The man named Greg looked at her and then, without hesitating he snapped her neck. Suddenly the whole meadow turned silent. Everyone looked at her dead body. Then a little Lily appeared from behind a tree. She made sure no one could see her. Then Lynea spoke inside Lily's head.

'They thought it was her they needed to kill. That I was her. But it wasn't her.'

The vision ended and I got tears in my eyes. My mom did die because of me. They killed her, when it was supposed to me. 

This was a secret I had to keep to myself for a long long time.

Oh my god!! Lily being some sort of goddess? That was completely unexpected! 

I didn't think my story was going to go this way, but I like it though :D
