Lily's p.o.v

I woke up and noticed there was an arm around my waist. My stomach growled and I really needed some food. I tried to get out of his arms but evey time I almost got out, he grabbed me again.

Well only one option left I guess. I screamed as loud as I could, and that wasn't very loud. My throat hurt from all the screaming yesterday, but the sound I made, was enough to wake Will up. He was up on his feet and put me behind him.

'What's wrong?' he asked looking around the room to make sure there was no one there to attack us. I grinned.

'Nothing. I'm hungry and you wouldn't let go of me so I decided to scream.' I winked at him and got out of bed. He looked kind of pissed but then shrugged.

'That's pretty smart, but if you do it again, I swear I'll...,' he couldn't finish his sentence because I interupted him.

'What, sorry I think I misheard you?' I chuckled. He sighed and took my hand. When we left the room, he lifted me up in his arms and carried me to the kitchen. This was new to me. Someone was making breakfast for me. I thought about everything that had happened to me in the past ten years. My father abusing me, my mother dying, my friends leaving me and the most important one, Anna. She above all people. Why did she do this? I trusted her and I thought I could tell her everything...

'Hellooo, earth to Lily,' Will was waving his hands in front of my eyes. 'What do you want for breakfast?' he asked. He smiled at me. Suddenly all my fears returned, but it wasn't his fault. I wasn't able to trust people easily. I backed away from him and screamed. All my memories of the past ten years filled my head and I couldn't take it anymore. 

'Lily calm down,' Emery, my lynx, said. 'You don't want to shift now, they can't find out just yet!'

I sank to the ground and put my hand is front of my face. Breate Lily. In. Out. In. Out. Good I was in control again. Suddenly I felt someone taking my hands. I looked up and saw Will's beautiful green eyes, but I was still scared. No idea why. I just didn't trust anyone right now.

'Please don't touch me right now,' I pleaded. He looked at me with hurt in his eyes and he did exactly the opposite. He lifted me up and carried me to the sofa. A tear rolled down my cheek. Will looked shocked.

'What's wrong, love, are you hurt?' he asked with fear in his eyes. I snuggled into his chest and relaxed.

'No, I'm fine, sorry I scared you,' I said with a sad smile.He didn't believe me but he dropped it for now. He made some breakfast for me and we ate in silence. After a half an hour, we were done and he put the plates in the dishwasher. We both lay down in the sofa and started to have some small talk. He asked me some stuff about me and I about we him. Long story short, we got to know each other.

After we had talked for what seemed days, we heard a knock on the door.

'I'll get it,' Will said. He got of the sofa and opened the door. Three people came barging in and I had no idea who they were.

'For god sake Will, when were you going to tell us you had found your mate? We've been waiting for this moment our whole lives!' I guessed that were his parents yelling at him. Standing next to them was a girl about my age. She smiled at me and I had this feeling we would become great friends.

'Lily, this is my family: My mom, dad and Sophie,' he said with a huge grin. I smiled and gave all of them a hug. 

'It's so nice to meet you Lily, I'm Emilia Barrs and this is my husband Luke Barrs and of course Sophie, she's WIll's little sister,' she said while pulling me into a tight hug.

'The pleasure's all mine, Mrs. Barrs, but could you please loosen up a liitle bit... Can't breath.' She quickly let go of me and laughed. I started laughing as well. This family, it was all I ever wanted. Someone who cares about me, loves me.

'Don't you dare call me Mrs.! It's Emilia for you. Mrs. makes me feel old.' We both laughed again and I had a feeling this was going to be a very relaxed day. 

'Come on, Lily, I'll show you around the house,' Sophie said, dragging me along. She hooked her arm with mine and told me everything I needed to know.

Anna's p.o.v

After Lily ran away, all hell broke loose. Alpha Stephan was afraid that she would go back to her lynx pack and tell them everything about their plans to attack them. I knew she wouldn't go there, she didn't even know where they lived, or that they existed. Stephan had called Kyle, my mate, and asked him so send out patrols to find Lily. Of course he wanted to help. Everything for his best friend.

Nobody was in the pack house so that's when I decided to call Lily. I had to tell her I was sorry for what I had done. That it wasn't her fault. I couldn't call her when Kyle was around. He hated her and he would probably hit me when he found out. He had already abused me in the past. I guess that's why Lily and I were friends, we were both abused by someone who was supposed to love us.

I walked over to Kyle's office and grabbed the phone. I had seen that Lily had taken her phone with her, otherwise I wouldn't know how I was going to reach her. I dialled her number and that's when I heard her voice.

'Hai, it's Lily. Who's this?' she asked. She didn't sound the same anymore. How could she, I mean after everything that happened to her...

'Lily, it's me, Anna. Please don't hang up. I just want to say I'm sorry for everything I've done. I didn't want to tell him but there's so much you don't know.' I started crying. 

'Anna, what have I ever done to you to deserve this? I thought we were friends, but you just betrayed me. How could you?' she yelled. I totally understood her reaction but still. I wanted her to tell me that everything was going to be okay.

'You don't understand, Lily. I know everything about wolves. My mate is a goddamn wolf, the alpha of the Blue Nightlock's pack. When he found out about the friendship we had, he wanted me to tell your father everything about what you told me. He didn't want me to be friends with you because everyone said you were the luna killer. I told him to go to hell but then he threatened me. If I wouldn't tell your father everything then he would kill my parents. I had no choice, Lily!' I yelled back at her. I knew she wouldn't forgive me that easily but at least now she understood.

'Do you mean Kyle?' someone asked. I didn't know who this was. 

'Yeah, Kyle, but ehh who are you?' I asked curiously. 

'Will, alpha of... well that doesn't matter. I don't know you so you shouldn't know where we live. I'm Lily's mate. And what did you just say about a luna killer?' 

'N-Nothing,' I murmered. Shit, I hadn't realised that someone was listening to her conversation with me.

'Come on, Will give my phone back,' I heard Lily say to alpha Will. Finally I heard her voice again.

'I haven't forgiven you, Anna, but at least now I understand why you did it. Are you okay? I mean Kyle doesn't sound really nice.' she said with a concerned voice. Of course, she was in a lot of trouble but all she cared about was if I was okay.

'Yeah, I'm...' I couldn't finish my sentence because I saw a pissed off Kyle standing right in front of me.

'You are so going to pay for this,' he said with a lot of anger in his voice. He grabbed me by my neck and I screamed as loud as I could.

The last thing I heard, was Lily's voice screaming my name through the phone.

I didn't really know what to write this time. I wanted to write a chapter where you got to know some new people. So here you have it ;) 

I know, I love writing cliffhangers. They make it soooooo exciting!! :D
