friday 5:20 p.m

"wanna come back to my place or something? i need to check something online." shawn asked.

"yeah, let's go." amalie nodded grabbing his hand.

after arriving at shawn's apartment, and making sure nick wasn't home, shawn pulled out his laptop and went on the airline's website.

"have you checked in?" amalie asked as she watched him type.

"i don't need to," shawn looked up from his screen watching amalie smile wider.

"you're not leaving?!" amalie exclaimed happily.

"not leaving yet," shawn said as amalies smile faded. "i know i should've told you a few months ago that i was planning on moving, but you know."

"yeah, don't worry i get it," amalie said. "but i'm glad i'll still have you until tomorrow."

"you'll have me even after i leave," shawn smiled. "you're gunna have to try harder to get rid of me, i think you should know that by now."

amalie chuckled and nudged him playfully.

"okay i rescheduled my flight for tomorrow."

"i'm okay with that, i kinda missed toronto. now i have an excuse to come back." amalie said.

"fuck if only we made up this morning, i wouldn't have sent my transcript." shawn groaned.

"stop, life goes on, we can make it work," amalie reassured him. "right now let's think about what we're gunna do for the next 24 hours."

shawn closed his laptop and pulled amalie onto his lap, "i have a few ideas."

friday 8:20 p.m

"oh yeah they definitely made up." pia said checking her phone. "she would be home right now."

"i bet you they're having make up sex right now." enya joked receiving a laugh from all the other girls.

"if they did make up, i'm glad shawn came to his senses." aisha said when the laughter died down.

"agreed." natalie said raising her mug of tea.

saturday 6:00 p.m

"do you have everything?" amalie asked as they unloaded shawn's car.

"no." shawn said causing amalie to stop what she was doing. "i don't have you."

amalie rolled her eyes, "that was so cheesy i'm about to drive home."

"promise me you'll take care of j-bone?"

"yes, i'll make sure to tuck her into bed everyday and kiss her good night." amalie replied.

"fuck, i'm gonna miss you so much."

amalie wrapped her arms around shawn and nuzzled her head into the crook of his neck, "i'll miss you too."

"i'm gonna miss your hugs, and your kisses, and your really bad cooking," shawn joked earning a slap from amalie. "okay, ouch, i'm not gonna miss that."

"i'm also gunna miss how you always speak up for what's right, how you keep me grounded. you really showed me a new perspective of life when i met you. i love you for making me a better person." shawn continued.

amalie couldn't hold it in anymore. this man truly made her soft. tears were streaming down her face as she squeezed him so tight.

shawn glanced down at his watch and saw that he was already running late. amalie noticed and cried even more, refusing to let go.

"so i guess this is goodbye?" amalie chuckled sadly as she wiped her tears.

"this is goodbye for now. we'll see each other soon, i promise." shawn said giving her one last kiss before disappearing into the airport.
