Breathlessly in love part5

EDDIES POV.
I woke up around 6 am and Richie was sound asleep. Somehow we found our way to cuddling on my bed. It was freezing and we had no covers on, but the warmth of his body against mine made me not want to move. As he spooned me I snuggled in closer allowing him to wrap his arm around me. I'm so glad Richie likes me for me... I'm glad Richie is with me. I was starting to get sleepy again when I heard footsteps downstairs. Ugh my moms awake. I carefully climbed out of the warm embrace of Richie and picked up a pillow that must have fallen off of my bed. "Richie... Richie wake up, my moms awake" I whispered into his ear. He turned his head and started to open his eyes. "Wha-what?" Richie murmured in a tired voice. "My moms aw-awake!" I shivered. He noticed and immediately got up grabbing a blanket along with him and wrapped it around me. "Okay okay. I'll be on my way home then I guess." He looked outside and it was still dark. Just the slightest hint of sunshine was peering over the house next door. "Eds come" he beckoned me over. As I walked over I realized the color of the magnificent sky. It had purples overlapping oranges and pinks. The sun rose slowly but surely. "Come" Richie said grabbing my hand and leading me out my window. "Richie what are w-" I started but he put his finger to my lips to quiet me. "Richie" I said in a annoyed voice, and I swore I heard a chuckle come out from his lips. We went onto my rooftop and I could see the sunrise perfectly. It was so romantic that I forgot how tired I was. "Hey eds wanna go to the barrens today?" Richie asked after a long moment of silence. "Uhh swimming or nah? Just us two? What time? For ho-" "Eddie spaghetti calm down" he lifted up my chin ever so slightly and I positioned myself to face him more. "Eds just us, no swimming, and for however long you want"  Richie told me in a calm, soothing voice. "Y-yeah sure Richie" I leaned in to kiss him, but he leaned away. I backed away a little. I was embarrassed... what if he changed his mind about me! "S-sorry eds I... I got distracted" he told me hugging me in closer so my head was pressed against his shirt. "It's okay" I said looking out to the now honey gold sky. Blushing I asked "Richie, can I kiss you?" He looked over at me a little astonished, as if he wasn't prepared for a question like that. Then and there I knew he was mine! He grabbed one hand on my face the other on my hip and kissed me. It was an intense kiss. It felt like he was letting out anger into me, but soon enough it became softer. Soft like clouds on a sunny day. He pulled away from me and held my face in his hands. "Eddie I'll always love you! I'll always be here for you" he told me, and I gently grabbed his hands which were lightly grasping my face. "Eddie I love you so much I never want to loose you" Richie pulled me into his chest again. Quickly, and it jerked me a little, but it was okay. I wrapped my arms around his hips and slowly listened to his warm,  fast beating heart. *thump thump,  thump thump*  once the sun was awake, I figured it was time to go back into my room and get ready for the barrens. "Hey eds I'll meet ya over there imma go get change of clothes, Kay?" He told me as he started to climb down the fencing. "Kay! Meet ya there in 20!" I called after him. "YUP" he responded. I quickly ran to my dresser and threw on my rainbow shorts, and a white polo shirt. My mom entered my room to check on me as I quickly but nearly tucked my shirt in. "Where are you off to honey?" My mom asks me. "I'm. Heading to the barrens mother" I respond confidently. "Why do you hate Richie so much?" I questioned. "I don't hate him..." "THEN WH-" "I just feel he's a bad influence on you that's all." She cut me off but responded with ease. "Okay I got to go mother" I said annoyed as I slipped on my shoes. I ran out my room past my mom and out the door to my bike. I rode all the way to the barrens till I remembered I forgot my fanny pack at home. as I was about to ride back I spotted Richie. "HEY RICHIE" I yelled after him. "Oh hey eds" he said. "Hey uhh richie I forgot my fanny pack at home" I paused waiting for a response. "Wow the great all mighty dr. K does forget stuff audience!" He said in a horrible -yet cute- British accent.  "Stop with the crapy accents." I told him. He laughed and got off his bike. "You'll be fine without your fannypack eds" Richie says. Comforting, but I don't know... I have a bad feeling. "Okay okay" we walked out bikes into a bushy area and walked to the water edge. "So uh eds" Richie started. "Yeah?" "Wanna go swiming!" He then pushed me into the water with all my clothes on. "RICHIE" I screamed all soaking wet. "Hahahah" he laughed took off his pants, shoes, and shirt and ran into the water. It was so much fun I almost forgot that I had to be home by 7:00 and it was already 5:30. "Okay Richie we should go home soon" I said coldly as I climbed outta the water. I looked down at my cold damp clothes then at Richie, who was putting on his dry clothes. He glanced up at me and walked over to me with his shirt in his hand. "Take off your shirt" he said demandingly. "Wh-what?" I asked confused. "Take of your shirt" "richie?"  I said but continued to remove my shirt and I threw it on the rocky floor. He puts his shirt -a reddish pink- over my head and forces me to put it on. Oooo it smells like him. It was big on me but comfy. "Thanks Richie" and I got into my tippy toes to kiss him, when I had a asthma attack. *cough cough* "inhaler" I limply said reaching for where my fannypack usually was... then I blacked out!

SORRY for the cliff hanger!! This is part5 of reddie spaghetti! Love y'all we almost at 100 reads which is like amazing thx so much. This one is a little longer than usual srry bout that! Love y'all bai ❤️
