Eddie pov:

I awaken at some time in the night, rain pouring aging the tree leaves making a loud thud. I look to my side and richie lays still, sound asleep. How did we end up like this. We use to be so harmless before bills brother went missing. We use to not give two shits about anyone but ourselves and that fucking Henry. I sat up, running my hand through my hair. So much has changed since penny wise... so much is different. Now, two kids lay in dirt hiding from their hometown for who knows how long. I could see the towns lights from the hillish area we lay on. Despite how fucked up everyone is... the town looks so harmless... so gorgeous at night. The sun just beginning to rise set the coastline a deep yellow, with hints of pink and orange. Swirls of colors dance around in my brain as the sun slowly but surely rises. So many thoughts stab my brain over and over... what will happen to richie and I?
"Eddie?" A loud groan, and a yawn came from behind as richie sat up. "Eds what Tim-" "I dunno" I short answered him. "We should go back into town" richie's eyes got big as I said this. "Back into town?! But what if we get caught" he snaps, standing up and crossing his arms bitterly. "Richie babe, they have NO proof of it to be us" I state, calmly getting up and walking over to him. He sighs taking my hands in his. "I love you Eddie, and I promise you, with every ounce of me I will protect you... even if it brings death to me" I smile pulling him into a kiss, then quickly releasing saying, "I love you too richie, and I always will" I turned on my heels and began walking back to our hometown. For the first time in a realllly long time.... I was happy, genuinely happy. I mean I shouldn't be under the circumstances, but I had the love of my life... and what could be better than to live life on edge with the person you care about most?
When we arrive in town we had already agreed to head straight over to Bens house.
*knock knock*
We quickly knocked on his door, and Ben swung open his door. "RICHIE? EDDIE?!" He yelled, pulling both of us into a tight hug. Richie let out a laugh, while I just gasped for air. He beckoned is inside, reminding us that tonight was movie night and so that means everyone was here. Of course we knew this... I mean every Sunday was movie day. That's just how it worked with out losers club. When we entered the door into bens small room, it was unusually quiet. Then Beverly stood up, walking over to us and buried her face into our shoulders. "Guys we all missed you crazy" Beverly began crying. "Bev. You can't be sad... c'mon, where's that way to happy camp counselor attitude!" Richie laughed.

Beverly released the tight hug, wiping away a tear while laughing a tad at richie's comment. "Y'know they arrested your step-mom richie" mike pointed out. Bev. Walked back to Ben hugging him tightly. "Wait? What?" I said aloud, a little to loud... "yeah and Eddie your mom is going crazy cause she can't find you" that kicked my heart like a boulder just fell on me. "SHIT MY MOM" I grab richies arm and run out the door only to bump into my mom, just about to knock on the door. "MOM!" Tears began to fall warmly down my cheeks, and I flushed red. She pulls me into a giant hug, and after releasing me... turns to richie and hugs him. Shocked he stands there for a few, but after awhile accepts this kind offer my mom showed him. "Where have you two love birds been?! You've got me and half the town going crazy" he laughed a sad laugh. I frown as well as richie, but we interlace our fingers and I say.
"Yeah, we've been on an adventure we'll never forget"

I smile at him genuinely, and he pulls me into a kiss. A passionate one that overwhelms me with happiness. I found the right one to love.
