The afternoon went by, Sophia was getting ready to shower, she almost closed the bathroom door when she noticed a mailman put something to her mailbox. She was a little confused, because she never used mail services, back at Oklahoma she always use emails, but she wanted to know so she went outside and she opened the mailbox. She found an envelope, it said 'to Sophia'. She took it and brought it into her bedroom. She opened the letter and read it.

Winter Warmth

'Your eyes light up
My heart embers, just seeing it
I'd drop by to say hello
To see those beautiful blue-green eyes

The rain has stopped,
So has the rain in my soul
Seeing the divine smile you created
That kept me so warm

The ice has melted
So has my ice-cold heart has melted
Laying my eyes on you,
Satisfies my soul

You are my winter warmth
You are my light
Wherever you go
My heart will go there, too.'

Sophia folded the paper back snd Sophia smiled after she read the poem. She was also confused, who would write her a poem. But her dad went home, so Sophia quickly hid the poem in her bag and went to dad.

"Hi dad!" She said, "how's work?

"Oh, you know, just an average working day with no suprises." He answered, "and also, you owe me something tonight."

"Oh." She said softly, in a worrying tone, "um, I'm going to take a bath first, see ya!"

Sophia headed to the bathroom and took a bath. She went out ready with her pyjammas. She was ready to sleep. The rain suddenly came, which made the atmosphere more cozy and warm. She just kept on thinking about the poem, until she fell asleep.

She was awaken by the boisterous sound of her alarm, she yawned and wanted to sleep again, but she refused, she was zippy to go to school, meeting new people. So she grabbed her towel and rushed to the bathroom. She ate breakfast and ran to the bus stop.

She reached school and went to the classroom, she saw Jacob a seat.

"Good morning Mr. Schneider!" She said

"What happened to you?" He asked, "you look all excited."

Sophia smiled, but it didn't last long. Max came to their table and gave a mean look to Jacob, and went away.
