They're traveling at a quick pace. But they're not rushing. The brunette leads the group, the small dinosaur walking as the caboose. The two girls walked with their arms intertwined. The other brunette man was beside them. They were walking on a small dirt path. They had no idea of the chaos reigning behind and before them. They are only informed of the war about to happen.
But they don't know just how horrid it will be. How many will die. The heartbreak and the gore.
They only know of their steps now.
But they keep walking. They take it step by step.
Until their feet hit the sand of the Layer-Cake Desert.
