(Sasha's POV)

I woke up with a stiff-neck, wondering why my bed had been so hard. Slowly I opened my crusty eyes, realising I had slept on the floor near the door. Throwing me a flashback of last night.

I had slammed the door on Nate's face, resulting me sliding down the door in tears. I assumed I got tired of crying as I slept on the floor. Surprised that I hadn't been thrown to the other side of the room by Lekaa barging into the room. She hadn't checked up on me, no one had checked up on me as my encounter with Nate.

I got up from the floor gingerly, not wanting to strain my kinked neck. Handing to the bathroom to do my morning routine as well as see the damage last night's waterworks had caused. My bloodshot puffed up eyes matching my puffy cheeks and Rudolph's nose came to my view in the mirror. Another reason why I refrain from crying.

After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I came out of the bathroom to be greeted by my phone's ringtone. Looking at the caller id, it showed my mom's name and her photo. Debating whether I should let it go to voicemail or answering the call, it made the decision for me. The call went to voicemail as my phone chimed its notification. Deciding to her it later, I made my way out of the room to the kitchen.

I walked into the kitchen, only to find LeRoy sitting on the stool with breakfast. He looked sad, extremely sad and tired. He didn't lift his head up when I entered neither did I acknowledge his existence. I saw a note on the refrigerator door stating that Amyna's having the baby and Lekaa and Nate followed them. I let out a deep sigh. As happy as I am for them, I didn't want to be stuck in the house with LeRoy.

"LeRoy. I think we need to talk." I said with no endearment in my statement. He snapped his head towards me, cocking his eyebrow. "Go ahead. Speak" he said sternly.

I knew that I deserved that tone but I hadn't known the effect it would put on me. LeRoy had never been stern or mean to me. His tone would always have an affection laced, but now it's lacking it.

Clearing my throat and thoughts, "we need to be civil. We can't have our friends choose a side. For now, we're all on the same side. I just don't want the group to break up for my decision. I want a clean break from our relationship. But I don't want to let go of the team's dynamics. You get me?" I spoke without stuttering, professionally.

"I understand. We can have a professional relationship. We're just two strangers working together. Am I right?" He asked monotone.

I nodded.

We kept silent for a couple of moments. Him being in thoughts of his own and myself wondering what his mind churning about.

He reminded silent until I voiced out my question, "What are you thinking about, Savio?" accidentally calling his middle name. His head snapped towards me in a blink. "Don't ever call me that Sasha" He spat venomously.
