Imagine #14 Elijah

You renew your vows a millennium later

It was time. Today you were renewing your vows to Elijah a millennium later, and you couldn't be stronger. Rebekah was doing your hair while Hayley was focusing on your make up.

"Don't lie Y/N come on! You must have stopped loving him just for at least a decade" Freya said. You laughed and shook your head. "No not for one second have I stopped loving him" you truthfully spoke.

It was true though. You and Elijah gotten married forever ago and have never stopped loving eachother since.

"There, all done" Rebekah quietly said moved a piece of hair to your shoulder. You looked in the mirror and you had to admit, you looked stunning.

You smiled and looked at the 3 women in front of you when someone suddenly opened the door. It was klaus.

"Well you look wonderful" he smiled at you and gave you a warm hug. You thanked him and sat back down.

You had the most beautiful wedding dress on, but not to puffy. More on the slim side and lace going up the back and sleeves.

Ceremony

You heard the music playing in the French quarter, and stepped onto the red carpet Elijah must have organised for you. As soon as he saw you, his eyes started to fill up. Klaus smiled and marcel nodded at you. Hope was your flower girl, and she looked adorable.

When you arrived at the alter, klaus started to speak. "We are gathered here today to celebrate the love of Elijah Mikaelson and Y/N Milaelson, the love is pure and warm, and will be forever lasting, the couple have there own vows" he finished with a smirk.

Elijah started to speak until his breath got caught in his throat just looking at you but coughed it out. "Y/N, ever since I laid eyes on you I knew there was something there but I had no idea whatsoever it could lead to something as amazing as this, for what seems like forever you have guided me and turned me in the right directions, and made me a better person. I wouldn't have made it this far in this life without you by my side and I'm so overwhelmed to call you my wife" he said but at the end giving a silent cry as you did.

"Elijah, since I met you I couldn't get you off my mind, and who thought that forever later we'd be here still trying to figure out how to make pancakes" everyone let out a little giggle, and you carried on. "For me to spend my life with you I am unconditionally grateful, you've made be a better me by just being you, I love you Elijah" you cried.

"I love you too Y/N" he hugged you and hugged back. Quite a few in the audience were crying as well.

"Well, the love for this couple will go on for eternity and more, you may now kiss your bride" klaus smiled and started clapping.

The family started to clap and you saw hope bring your rings. As Elijah put on yours and you put on his, he kissed you with so much passion it was hard to take in.
