You finally pulled up to the Salvatore boarding house. You got out of your car and opened the door to see Damon's shoes scattered across the hall. As you lightly chucked to yourself, you picked them up and placed them to where everyone else's were.

"When's it yours and Y/N anniversary" a husky, deep voice asked. Damon of course. " 21st March, this year will be 57 years" Stefan replies without even thinking about it. You could hear the smile in his voice, and without your control a smile crept upon your face also.
"How can you stay with someone for that long without ever having doubts or stop loving them for awhile" Damon asked full of wonder. You could tell Damon hadn't met the one yet. You waited without patience to hear Stefan's answer, feeling quite nervous.
"I know it's cheesy, but to me it was like yesterday I seen her walk into that bar in the 60's, I remember the dress she wore and the heels she wore, I even remember what colour eyeshadow she had on" He said but could tell he wasn't finished.
"She knows my past but still sticks by my side because she has hope for me Damon, every time I'm with her it's like fireworks inside, she lights up my world and I hope I give her the same amount of happiness" He finished while smiling to himself, lightly shaking his head in disbelief for how he got so lucky.
"Well brother, I hope one day I get what you have" Damon blurred out while taking a swig of bourbon.

Damon- You had been shopping with Caroline all day and truth to be told, you were exhausted. Her constant talk about dresses and fashion made you realise you could fall asleep while your eyes are open. Although you loved care, she could be quite a handful at times.
