Imagine #15 Damon

Part 2: your Katherine's sister in 1864

It was the miss mystic falls dance tonight, and none stop your sister Katherine had been torturing the Salvatore brothers for weeks. It physically made me sick knowing what she was doing and even worse...she was enjoying it!

"Oh come on Y/N, I don't even want Damon anyway lighten up, just some fun" she smirked as she stood up lining her dress on her body while tilting her head which meant she was deciding if she liked it or not.

"That's my point Katherine, we came here to be safe and your giving it away by compelling people, it's awful" you sighed while Katherine was tightening the straps on the back. You hated these dresses, it had to be pulled so tight that it felt like you couldn't breathe.

"We won't get found out, even though I compel Damon, he none stops talks about you, and he's downstairs waiting for you like Stefan waiting for me" she giggled.

She really liked Stefan and well, you couldn't blame her. He was charming, handsome, caring, kind and such a gentlemen. And he seemed to like her too.

"It's time sister" Katherine reached out to grab your hand, and as you did you walked to the top of the stairs, with a few other girls to see every boy waiting for their girl. Of course you saw Damon and he looked so innocent but so sexy at the same time.

"Miss Katherine Pierce" someone called out and she stood at the stairs while Stefan walked towards the bottom step. She couldn't stop smiling and the turned to you and nodded as you nodded back.

As she walked down it was your turn and Damon couldn't get there quick enough. You couldn't help but have a little giggle to yourself. Once they called out your name, you slowly walked down the steps as your heels clicked along the way and your curls bounced with it.

He linked your arms with his and gently kissed your cheek. "May I say, Miss Y/N Pierce you look breath taking" he whispered in your ear.

"Thankyou Damon Salvatore, you don't look too bad yourself" you smiled at him and tensed your arm lightly.

As all the couples were down, you did the dance with Damon while Stefan and Katherine were dancing beside you. She looked gorgeous with her wavy hair up, and a silky purple dress on.

Unlike you, you had your hair down by your side and a silky dark blue dress on, you looked amazing.

Once the dance was complete, the crowd erupted with cheers and claps.

You looked at Damon and he looked at you, and for a moment it was like nobody else was in the room. The whole world to be honest.

Later on
It was only you and Damon in the room you and Katherine shared. You were both just sitting and talking about life.

"I hope you don't mind Miss Y/N but I brought you a necklace" he blushed. You looked at him while your heart was exploding and he handed you a red velvet box.

You opened it, and inside was a gorgeous, silver necklace with a charm at the bottom in the shape of a heart.

"I can't accept this Damon, you should give it to someone you really love and care about not a silly girl you've known for a few weeks my darling" you handed it back to him with a tear in your eye.

"Oh no please, I've been thinking about this for awhile, and I do love and care about you, it feels like I've known you for my whole entire lifetime and I was hoping that you'd like to be my girl" he asked while stuttering at the end.

There was no denying you loved Damon but it would make things so much difficult. But the feelings you had for him were far to overwhelming and you kissed him passionately.

"There will have to be a few things we have to talk about but of course I will" you smiled once more and hugged him. And as you said that you could hear his face go hot and his heart race up.

"Thankyou Miss Y/N"
