Imagine #17 Jeremy

He meets your brothers for the first time

You were quite nervous about Jeremy meeting your brothers, I mean..come on, they were the Salvatore's.

They had been protective since you were born, and they were furious when they found out that Katherine turned you and turned their back on her. You owed them that because they both loved her, but if they didn't choose you then you'd kick their ass because you're their sister.

You hadn't had a boyfriend since klaus in the 60's, and you lasted a pretty long time but you both wanted different things, you are both still good friends though.

"Do I look okay?" Jeremy asked while wiping the sweat off his forehead. You laughed at him worrying so much and speeded over to him.

Jeremy knew about you and your brothers. It was quite strange considering he found out a few weeks ago that he's a vampire hunter.

"Don't worry, just don't hurt me or piss them off and maybe they won't kill you" you said while kissing his cheek. You laughed at his face twist up and took his hand and went out the door.

At the Salvatore house

You knocked on the door with excitement because you hadn't seen your brothers in forever! The door opened to reveal your two brothers who's faces lit up when they saw you.

"Y/N!!! Didn't think you'd show" Damon gleamed as he pulled you in for the biggest hug you had ever felt. You smiled at him and shook your head. "Why wouldn't I show? Who cares if my brothers are one of the dangerous vampires of all time and annoy me constantly?" You asked in a sarcastic tone which caused Stefan to giggle.

You turned to him and jumped while hugging him. Luckily he caught you and hugged you even tighter than Damon did.

"I've missed you" he whispered in your ear. You smiled and hugged him again lightly.

"I've missed you too, I've missed both of you so much" You squealed.

Their smiles soon disappeared when they saw Jeremy standing on the door step. You noticed Damon and Stefan exchange glances which made you roll your eyes.

"Who's this cheese string?" Damon furrowed which caused Stefan to laugh. You saw Jeremy stiffen up.

"This is my boyfriend, not a cheese string" you commented back glaring at Damon. Once again Stefan and Damon exchanged glances.

"What's your name?" Damon said raising his eyebrow. You looked at Jeremy and he looked at you.

"Jeremy...Jeremy Gilbert" he stuttered. You just wanted to run up to him and give him the biggest hug to comfort him but you knew he could do this himself.

"And you won't ever hurt her? Right?" Stefan looked deep into his eyes, like he was trying to tear into his soul.

"Of course I wouldn't, I love her I would do anything to protect her" Jeremy looked at you and smiled and you smiled back.

"Well if she's happy then I'm happy for her, it's alright with me" Stefan nodded and squeezed your hand. You had never seen Damon turn his head so fast and gave Stefan the biggest death stare.

"Come on Stefan, she's like 5 and the only serious relationship she had was with klaus she doesn't know what she's doing" he said as if you weren't in the room, and with him saying that you grabbed him by the arm and forcefully bent it behind his back and kicked him. He went flying to the other side of the room. You saw the amazement in Jeremy's eyes. He had never seen you fight when it came to using your vampire skills.

"First of all I'm not 5, I'm 17...second of all yes a serious relationship that lasted 30 years" you said while picking up a lamp Damon accidentally knocked over when he was in the air.

"Damon she has a point, we can't treat her like she's 5 forever, she'll always be our little sister but we need to come to reality that she's grown up, she can make her own choices" Stefan truthfully spoke while helping Damon up.

As Damon stood up, he dusted the specs of dust off him and speeded back to you.

He coughed and rolled his eyes. "I suppose I'll allow it but if you go to your bedroom then keep the door open!" He said in a serious tone which caused Stefan and Jeremy to giggle.

You gently kissed him on the cheek and took Jeremy's hand.

"For now why don't you three get to know each other while I unpack my things" you suggested and they all looked at each other.
You could tell they didn't want to but they went with it to keep you happy.

Well it could have went worse I guess.
