I am at school and I don't want to be here. I have been getting bullied and hit on ever since Zach left. That kid Jay keeps trying to get with me and it is actually very disgusting. The popular girls bully me because Zach "ditched" me.

In English Class

I sat in the back like usual. No one next to me. Alone. We were talking about a story and how a person left another person. Seems like they are targeting me. One of the head popular girls talk to the teacher and that says "yeah someone of us knows what that feels like" she smiles back at me. I just put my head down and sleep for the rest of the class, which is my last one.

90 minutes later

I get out of that class. It was 90 minutes because it was a block period. Longest period. I walk down the hallway and see all the jocks. I try to walk faster. But that didn't work "Hey Liz" a guys says. I turn around and look behind me. Jay.

"What do you want jay. I have to babysit" I snap at him, I look around and see all his friends standing there laughing. "Maybe we could hang out. I could get your mind off of that music lover boy" he says playing with my hair. I grab his hand and pull it away. And keep it behind his back "No thanks. And his name is Zach!" I yell and push him to the ground and walk out of the school.

I get to the Herron's and walk in because I was told to do that now. "I'm here Ryan" I yell and he comes down with a black eye! "Ryan what the frick happened to your face?" I yell cupping his cheeks "These guys were making fun of Zach and I tried to stand up for him but it didn't work" he says looking down. I get down to his level "that was very good of you but tell someone. Okay?" He nods and I hug him.

"Come on we have to go pick up Reese. Her bus isn't dropping her off" I pat his back. We get into the car and I drive off to her school. When I pull up I see many of kids. Reese is probably still inside.

I walk in and I say to the front desk "I am here to pick-up Reese Herron" she smiles and says "name?" "Elizabeth Garcia" I smile back. She nods and calls her down. When she sees me. She runs up and hugs me "LIZZY!" She yells I smile widely "hi baby. I'm gonna baby sit you and your brother today" we walk out and I see everyone looking at us "what are they looking at?" I whisper to Ryan "Us" I go up to an older kid and ask "why are you staring at us?" He smiles "because Zach Herron" I walk off and roll my eyes.

3 hours later

We have been at the house for a while and both the kids took naps. I had given Ryan something to put on his eye, the swollen has gone down a bit. Myta walked in "Hey Liz" she says and I smile and put my index finger up, indication to be quite. She looks over the couch and smile and nods. "What happened to Ryan?" She asks pulling me into the kitchen "Some kids punched him for sticking up for Zach" I say looking down.

She comes over and hugs me " I miss him too honey. We all do. He is gonna come home to visit soon. He isn't gonna make it for Christmas" I sigh and nod. And hug her back. "I am gonna go home" she smiles and I go to the door and walk out

At home

I walk in and I see my mom "Hi Mami" I say and she smiles "Hi baby, how was school?" She asks with her heavy Spanish accent. "It could have been better" She nods "Is Zachary, coming home for Christmas?" I shake my head no. She sighs "well I'm sure he will call" I nod and "night mami." I say and she kisses my forehead and I climb into bed. I get a text

Zach💙- Hey Lizzy! I miss you a lot

Lizzy✨- Hey Zach. I miss you so much!

Zach💙- I'm sorry I couldn't come up for Christmas this year

Lizzy✨- it's okay. I understand.

Zach💙- good

Lizzy✨- I am actually really tired.
