Meeting you~Natsu Dragneel x Reader

Natsu p.o.v

I sat staring at a wall as the ruckus of the guild continued behind me. I averted my gaze to the bottom of my glass, then said "Mira can you get me some more fire Whiskey?" she nodded "sure Natsu!" I thanked her as she poured the amber liquid into my glass. I chugged some down just as the doors burst open. "I'd like to join Fairy Tail!" a female voice exclaimed. Her scent invaded my nose and I shuddered turning my head to get a look at her. She was a small woman (IDC if you're tall deal w/ it.) with a small waist which was perfectly proportionate to her waist and breasts, her hair reached down to her waist and her hands clutched a small backpack. "Of course! What magic type are you?" the girl walked forward and my eyes followed her fluid motions. "I'm a mirror dragon slayer. That means I can mimic any dragon slaying technique." I shot towards her. "Serious!? I'm a fire dragon slayer!" she whipped her head around looking at me in surprise. "Really? Fire is my favorite element. That's awesome! You should teach me some techniques."

Mira asked her where she wanted her guild mark and what color. "red and on my chest." I blushed, knowing that she unintentionally matched my color. "I want the insignia over my heart cause Fairy Tail is my family now!" I grinned. "cool! you want to fight? I think it would be cool!" she shrugged "I kinda have to go look for a place to stay at. maybe later?" I scoffed. "just stay at my place! you wouldn't have to pay the rent or anything as long as you cooked for me and Happy. Plus we could practice earlier." she smiled and nodded. "sure! sounds great! oh do you guys happen to love fish?" she said unzipping her bag, revealing a sleeping purple exceed. "heck yeah! Happy's gonna love you so much! come on! you two need to meet him. I think he's fishing at the creek by our house."

(Y/N) P.o.v

he tugged me along, through the streets and up a hill and through a little grove of trees to a cottage, not small but not big either. "wait here." he said letting go and going behind the house. 

"HAPPY!!!!!!! GET OVER HERE!!!"

TIME SKIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY NATSUS CUTENESS

"Natsu what do you guys want for dinner?" I asked looking in their fully stocked fridge. "curry!" Natsu shouted tripping over a sleeping happy whom was hugging Alexei, my exceed, as they slept. "careful!" I said chuckling. he looked up at me with a sheepish grin. "sorry" he said with a mumble. I shook my head and started to make the curry.

Natsu sighed in satisfaction as he set the bowl in the sink. "you're a really good cook (Y/N)." I nodded as I flipped the page of the book I was reading. Natsu sat next to me on the couch and looked over my shoulder, resting his head on my shoulder in the process. "Whatcha reading?" he whispered, his breath brushing against my neck. I shivered "Dragon Quest. why?" Natsu became visibly more interested. "c...could you read to me?" I blushed and nodded. I began reading out loud and not a few moments his head slipped into my lap and he began to snore. I giggled and began to card my fingers through his hair, which was surprisingly soft. he mumbled and wrapped his arms around my waist, burying his face in my stomach. I blushed but did not disturb him. I couldn't, he just looked so peaceful. Even though I just meet him I feel an obligation to comfort him to the best of my abilities.

I began to hum a soft melody that my mother had used to sing to me when I had nightmares or when I was sick. the music began to twinkle through the air as I manifested a special power I had. the sound of a music box filled the silent air, causing Natsu to stir. I hushed him quickly, resuming my strokes. slowly I began to drift off, not realizing when Natsu woke and looked up at me. I leaned back and was about to fall asleep when two warm arms picked me up and carried me through the room. I was set down on a bed that smelled of cinnamon, sweat, and apples. it was a nice musky scent and I realized that it was how Natsu smelled. I then realized as the bed dipped behind me, that he must have put me in his bed. I wanted to get up and go to the couch but his bed was so soft and it smelled so good. also, there was the fact that he just wrapped his arms around my waist, making me warm so....... yeah not moving any time soon.

NATSU POV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I blushed when she snuggled into me and sighed in bliss. slowly I relaxed and pulled her back parallel to my chest and stomach, effectively spooning her small body. about half an hour after she fell asleep she began to shiver as if she was cold. I frowned, concerned that gray had shot her with some ice make or something. Her hands were super cold so I took them in mine and gently rubbed the heat back into them. she let out another sigh and turned over curling into me, resting her head on my chest which caused me to smell her. she smelled sweet, like pastries and chocolate... maybe even a little coconut. she nuzzled into me, her knee brushing up against my crotch which caused me to stiffen and let out a little groan. Her eyelids fluttered, and she let out a little huff, her cheeks becoming rosy. I gathered the blankets around us tightly and gently began to rub her back as she pressed her body closer to mine. I smiled tenderly at her, the temptation to kiss her plump lips growing. Soon enough I began to drift off but not before I muttered something, very quietly,  but it was there. " I think I love you (y/n)-chan....." and with that my world began to slip.

so my fine fellows! what did you think of my first oneshot? I think I will eventually make this one into a series since I see some places I could take it but I won't do that right now.
