"So you gonna tell me where we're going yet?" I ask Colby as he pulled out of the driveway. "Nope" he smirked. "How do I know your not going to murder me or something" I say. "Maybe I am maybe i won't" he says taking a glance at me and then looking back at the road.
He turned on to a old abandoned road and stopped. "I'm still scared that your gonna murder me" I said getting out of the car. He smiled evilly and then chuckled. We started to walk down a trail and we came up to a beautiful treehouse with fairy lights hung on it. "Do you like it?" Colby asked me bending down and putting his arms out towards it. I laughed "I love it!"
He got up and lead me inside it. "One of my friends owns it and he let me have it tonight" he said sitting on the bed. I sat down beside him and smiled. "Does Sam know about this?" I ask looking around the tiny room. "Nope" he smirked "keep this house between us." I chuckled and laid back on the bed. "This is comfy" I say getting comfy.
"I have a joke" I say and he says "what is it?" "So there's this dude named bob he has no arms. Knock knock" I say "who's there?" He replies smiling cheekily. "It isn't bob" I say seriously. He starts cracking up "that was a horrible joke." I smile "I know."
We sat there cracking horrible jokes and talking for what seemed like 20 minutes but was actually 3 hours. "Wow we've been doing this for 3 hours" I say checking the time. "Really? I thought it was like 15 minutes?" He said star struck. "I did too!" I said also star struck.
"We should get home it's 9:00 o clock" Colby said. "But I wanna stay here" I whined laying back on the bed. "We could but we have to tell Sam and the others" Colby said. He pulled out his phone and started to text someone. "Okay I told them" he said. We laid back on to the pillows and got under the covers. "Goodnight Colby" I said closing my eyes. "Goodnight ash" Colby said before I fell into a deep sleep.
The next morning
I woke up the next morning with Colby's arm draped over me. I could hear birds chirping and bushes rustling. "Colby wake up" I shook him. He groaned "we have to go home" I say to him. "Okay" he got up and I followed. We went back to his car and got in. "I wonder what Sam will say about this" I said to myself. I felt my phone vibrate and I looked at the screen.

Hey do you wanna hang out with my and the boys today?
Sure where and what time?
(Insert random address) at 2:00 o clock
Okay see ya later Peace ✌️
I looked back up at the road and said to Colby "hey I didn't die!" He chuckled and said "it'll come soon very soon." I laughed and I noticed that we were pulling into the driveway. "Oh that place wasn't that far away" I said getting out of the car after he stopped. "Yea it wasn't" he said following me into the house. "Where were you two?" Corey and devyn said crossing their arms. "At a place" I said walking through the two.
I ran upstairs and into my room. I closed my door and changed into some comfy clothes and walked back downstairs. "I see your back" Aaron said as I walked into the living room. "Yep" I said sitting beside him. "Where were you?" He asked playing rocket league. "We spent the night in this little tree house in the woods" I explained to him. "That's cool" he said nodding his head focusing on the game.
The date wasn't as awkward as I thought it would be.
