It was after school and I was waiting for Colby. "Hey" vic said coming up to me and sitting next to me. "What's up" I said looking over at him. He smiled goofily and said "the sky." I looked over at the street and saw Colby's car. "I got to go man Peace" I said getting up and walking over.
"Wait!" Vic said stopping me. "Can I have your number?" I chuckled and he gave me his phone. I added myself in and gave him back his phone. "Bye man" I laughed and walked to Colby's car.
I climbed into the car and he smiled "we're going to an abandoned house tonight." I shuddered remembering the nightmare. "Okay" I replied sighing as he turned out of the school. He turned down the highway and drove away. "are we not getting sam?" I asked throwing my stuff in the backseat. "He's already driving there" Colby said.
I looked out at all the cars driving by. "So many different colors" I whispered smiling. "What?" Colby said noticing I said something. "Oh nothing" I continued smiling. I could hear him chuckle as I continued to stare out the window.
The hours seemed like minutes talking to Colby. The next thing I knew we were here. I looked over and saw Sam's car with Sam and kat in it. "I wonder how long they've been sitting there" I said climbing out of the car.
I walked slowly over to the car and knocked on the window. Sam seemed to jump making me chuckle. "Finally" Sam said climbing out of the car and walking over beside Colby. Colby had sat the camera up already and was about to press the record button.
I quickly ran over there accidentally tripping on the way. "Damn it Ashton are you okay?" Colby laughed. I started laughing hard and I nodded not able to stop laughing. "I think she hit her funny bone" Sam whispered to kat. Colby chuckled and helped me up. "Well that was an interesting intro" Colby said putting his hands together.
He started to explain about the place "so we know nothing about this place. We looked nothing up we just found it." "Oh that's nice" I said sarcastically and looked at Colby. Colby stoped recording and picked up the camera and we started to walk.
We fell behind and he said "are you okay coming here with us knowing nothing?" I faked a smile and nodded "yea I'm fine." I wasn't this place reminded me a lot of my nightmare and we weren't even in the building. We made sure sam wasn't looking and he pecked me on the lips.
"I can tell your lying" Colby said not looking at me. "Okay" I sighed "this place reminds me of my nightmare from last night." Colby stopped me and kissed me on the lip sweetly. We didn't know Sam was up talking to the camera. We didn't know that we were in frame.
"We'll be fine" Colby said pulling away and walking up to Sam and kat. I smiled and ran up to the group. After an hour we made it up to the building. I looked up and down the building. It was pretty big.
It looked like it had four floors at one time but two had collapsed. "Hey Ashton you coming?" Kat said staring at me. "Uh yea" I said shaking my head. "Well come on" Kat said.
We walked inside and as we did she stopped me. "So you and Colby?" She asked. "Wait you saw that?" I whispered yelled. She nodded frantically smiling like a maniac. I rolled my eyes and groaned. "Let's catch up to the guys" I said running up to them.
As I caught up to them I instantly recognized the place. This is where Colby got shot in my dream. Kat had caught up with us and was walking beside sam. I heard something shuffle behind us. The shuffling. I stopped dead in my tracks and grabbed Colby. "We need to get out of here" I said turning Colby around.
There was a man standing behind a pillar trying to hide. "Get sam and Kat" I said not taking my eyes off the man. I heard Colby talking to Sam and Kat. They quickly walked over sam pressing record on the camera. The man climbed out from behind the pillar.
He pulled out a gun and cocked it. I turned to the group and the only word that came out was. "RUN!"
