I woke up to Colby shaking me "hey do you want to go to an abandoned place with me,Elton and Sam?" "Uhh sure" I replied getting up. "It takes 5 hours to get there from here though" Colby said and I shrugged. "I'll still go" I said going into my room and changing into some comfortable clothing. "You guys ready?" Elton said walking into the hallway between Colby and i's room. "Yea!" We called out at the same time. I walked out of my room and Colby followed.
"You ready to spend 5 hours in a car?" Colby said brushing his hand against mine. "I guess" I replied and we walked downstairs and saw Elton and Sam waiting for us. "How the fuck did you get down here so fast?" I asked Elton and he just laughed. (I love Elton's laugh) "let's go" Sam said doing a weird scratchy voice.
We all walked outside and climbed into Elton's car. Elton and Sam sat in the front and Colby and I sat in the back. "So a rule no making out in my car" Elton said looking into the back view mirror and starting the car. Welp let's get this road trip started.
5 hours later
We got out of the car and the guys carried their cameras. We got in front of a cool view and Elton set up his camera and Sat just held his. He hit record and started talking " hey everyone so we're at the bayshore roundhouse. so basically it was used to park and service locomotives on their way into San Francisco. As the Southern Pacific line grew, so did the Bayshore facilities -- at one point there were 25 outbound tracks, 39 inbound tracks, and even a hospital for the 3,000 employees. The rise of diesel engines meant steam facilities became obsolete and the roundhouse was abandoned in 1982. A fire in 2001 demolished half of what was left of the roof of the roundhouse, but the bones of the structure are still intact and super-cool looking." Elton explained to the camera. "So we're here with Sam" Sam waved "Colby" Colby waved "and Sam's sister Ashton" Elton said.
'Wow Elton talks a lot' I laughed to myself. "What are you laughing about?" Colby asked me once Elton was holding
his camera. "Elton talks a lot" I said "so I'm doing something different. Even though this is building is small. Sam your coming with me Colby your going with Ashton" Elton said. "Okay" Colby,Sam and I shrugged. We spilt off into our groups and Colby hit record and started talking.
So I don't really know how this looks like so time skip
We got back together at the end of exploring the place and they recorded the ending parts and we walked back to the car. "That was fun" I said as I climbed into the backseat next to Colby. "I just realized I've skipped two days of school" I said realizing it's Wednesday. "Oh shit" Sam said looking back at me. "I'm gonna be in trouble when I go back to school" I said laughing. "Yep you sure are" Sam said to me before we started to drive home.
